Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. The goal of the game in "Cubello" is simply to match blocks! A 3-dimensional rotating aggregate of cubes is floating in the screen, filled with a variety of cube colors. Using the Wii Remote's motion sensor controls, you simply aim where you want to fire and shoot. Once at least a certain number of cubes of the same color are next to each other, they get removed. At minimum, how many cubes of the same color do you need next to each other to remove them?

Answer: 4

Four is the minimum you need, but you should be aiming for more. The more blocks you clear at once, the faster you can complete the level. In addition, clearing more blocks at once increases your chances of reaching "Bonus Time", where you can remove tens of blocks in a flash.
2. In "Rotohex", your goal is to rotate triangles in order to make hexagons (surprise)! When you make a hexagon (hex), it is removed from the board. Fill up the entire board, and you lose! In Solo Mode, how many hexagons of the specified color do you need to move on to the next level?

Answer: 6

In Solo Mode, you have to complete seven different levels, with each level adding on a new color to make things harder. After completing Solo Mode, you unlock the credits and the challenging Sprint Mode.
3. In "Orbient", you control a star in outer space. Using gravity and anti-gravity, you must run into planets, which increase the size of your star. Once you have become large enough, you must get the target planet (shown in yellow) to orbit around you to clear the level. To increase the size of your star, what color planets must you run into?

Answer: Blue

Running into blue planets increase the size of your star slightly and turns more planets blue.

Running into red planets makes you lose a life, but gives you temporary invincibility. This can be useful on some levels.

Running into white planets destroys them. If you want to, you can make them orbit your planet, changing the background music in the process.

Purple asteroids have no gravitational pull and running into them costs you a life.
4. In "Rotohex", what do you unlock by completing the third level of Solo Mode?

Answer: Endless Mode

Endless Mode always uses four colors. You complete stages in the same way as Solo Mode. Unlike Solo Mode, however, Endless Mode is endless! The game gets faster and faster after each level, making it harder and harder to not lose.

There are eight different combinations of colors that the game shifts through. Many of the colors used are not seen in any other mode.
5. How many levels are there in "Orbient"?

Answer: 50

The levels are divided into ten sets of five. The game has three different endings, depending on how much of the game you've completed.
6. In "Cubello", the blocks you have to fire at the stage are fired from what?

Answer: Magazine

A maximum of nine blocks can be stored in the magazine at once. For every set of blocks you clear, you get three more blocks to fire in the magazine.
7. In "Orbient", to fully complete a level, what must you do?

Answer: Orbit the moon

After completing the level by orbiting the moon, the galaxy in the level select screen turns yellow. Once you turn all the galaxies yellow, you unlock a secret ending.

You must be careful not to run into the moon, or else it will disappear.
8. What is unique about the credits of "Rotohex"?

Answer: The background music is randomly generated

The colors and locations of the triangle change each time you watch it. Funky!

The music used in the credits is a mash-up of various soundtracks from the game. It's also very funky!
9. How many stages are there in "Cubello"?

Answer: Thirty-six

The stages are divided into six different sections of six levels. To unlock new sections, you have to complete all the ones from the previous section.
10. "Rotohex", "Cubello" and "Orbient" are all based on old games from what gaming console?

Answer: Game Boy Advance

"Rotohex" is based off of the Game Boy Advance (GBA) game "Dialhex", which was only released in Japan.

"Cubello" shares some similarities to the GBA game "Coloris".

"Orbient" is very similiar to the GBA game "Orbital".
