Toma is a wandering adventurer looking for priceless artifacts. First, he was searching for the Sun Stone, but Crono and his friends eventually beat him to it. Then, Toma found the location of the Rainbow Shell, but died mysteriously before getting to it.

In 1000 AD, Toma's spirit told Crono of the Rainbow Shell's location. Crono and his friends had to fight an old enemy to finally get to the Rainbow Shell.

Bandeau is a guy who really has no importance in the game besides the fact that he wants to build a ferry between Medina and Truce. He wanted to build the ferry after everything in the past has changed.
