Planeswalkers come in pairs, male and female with the same specialty: either Fire Elementals/Energy Elementals, Water Elementals/Ice Elementals, Earth Elementals/Magma Elementals or Psychic Elementals/Magic Elementals. The Elementalists are powerful magicians, and are the only heroes starting with a magic school secondary skill.

The ballista is not worth buying unless you have the secondary skill: Artillery. If you don`t have this, the ballista will do very little damage. But if you have expert artillery, the ballista would be good for three things: 1. You can direct its shots 2. It shoots twice 3. Nice damage (the damage also increases with your attack skill).

The Earth Elemental is really not worth 400 gold. It is much worse than all other level 5 units, but costs the same as other level 5 units. This is compensated by Conflux having the best level 2 and level 3 unit in the game.

Sprites also have great speed. If they are faster than any enemy unit on the battlefield, they can wait until the end of turn, fly and attack with no enemy retaliation, and return back, since they go first on the next turn. This is especially handy because sprites are so very weak in defense and would suffer great from enemy retaliations.

Only a few towns can build the Mage Guild level 5 (Level 6 does not exist). That is a great advantage within magic, since it`ll get you a great spell.
