Question 1 of 10
1. In order to earn the "Double Tap" in-game achievement, Eric and Rachel must both die "in the same explosion." Seeing as how there are quite a few explosions, this seems to imply that earning this trophy is fairly flexible in terms of timing. However, there is only one scene where the opportunity to have this happen actually takes place, and to achieve it, the player must use a character to order them to, unbeknownst to them, wander right into an explosive. Which character has to guide them towards this particular doom? Hint

Question 5 of 10
5. When each playable character in the game is first introduced, the game will assign two personality based labels to them right from the get go. The player has the opportunity to potentially alter these two traits, but if they don't make a concentrated effort to do so, they'll most likely remain. Which two traits does the game assign to Rachel? Hint

6. During the game, Jason can potentially talk about why he decided to enlist in the military initially. What reason does he provide for wanting to do so? Hint

Question 7 of 10
7. Nick admits to not being particularly intelligent in a discussion with Jason, saying that he flunked a subject in high school. His lack of understanding this particular subject can also come up during a discussion with Salim- Salim will tell Nick what the House of Ashes actually is, and will view Nick with contempt over his lack of understanding. Which school subject did Nick flunk out of? Hint

Question 8 of 10
8. Early in the game, Rachel proves to be bilingual as she interrogates a group of Iranian farmers using perfect Arabic. However, she isn't the only bilingual character. Which other main character is capable of speaking multiple languages fluently? Hint

Question 9 of 10
9. With one exception, every character in the game has the potential to die at multiple different points of the story. This one character, however, will always be killed and it will only be in one specific scene. Who is this? Hint

Question 10 of 10
10. The final conflict at the end of the game is hard enough as is with limited supplies and a near overwhelming enemy. However, it can be made a bit easier if the team is able to preemptively request air support while they've set up camp at the temple. Doing this is difficult and requires a very old radio to be repaired. Only character is capable of repairing it and allowing for such support to be contacted. Which character can fix this radio? Hint

Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts

Answer: Nick

During the "After The Fall" chapter, Nick and Jason have the potential to disarm a trip wire bomb, take the explosives and then re-set them to provide defense against the vampires, and the player will decide where to place these explosives. If this happens, during the "Assault" chapter, the team will end up needing to flee entering the area which had been tripwired. Here, the player controlling Nick will tell Rachel and Eric to either stay on the far outside of the area, or head directly through the middle of it. If the player has Nick tell them to enter the part of the room which has been rigged with explosives, Eric and Rachel will trigger these explosives and both immediately die in the process.

This is the only way possible to complete the "Double Tap" achievement.
2. Within the game, a newspaper can be found hidden early in the game. Which chapter can the player find this hidden newspaper?

Answer: The Briefing

During this chapter, the player is controlling Eric. After a cutscene plays in which Eric debriefs his team on how they're going to handle a raid into an Iranian missile silo, the team breaks up to make preparations before moving out. The player will have five real life minutes to look around the room, during which they can pull up a newspaper. This is one of the game's secret items.
3. In the beginning of the game, the Americans have established a base which they use to convene before moving out to raid what they believe to be an Iranian missile silo. What is the name of this base?

Answer: Camp Slayer

Mailman is Jason's codename, used to communicate over radio. Behind Rachel's back, her subordinates have resorted to calling her a vulgarity including the word 'Queen'. King is Eric and Rachel's last name while Camp Slayer is the name of the group's stationed base.
4. Eric has developed software which has helped him to locate what he believed to be the Iranian missile silo. What's the name of the software Eric developed to do this?

Answer: Caelus

As it turns out, Caelus managed to locate a vast series of supplies and a few camps which a group of killed expeditioners left behind underground, and not an Iranian missile silo. As a result of the failed operation based strictly off of Caelus' shortcoming, Eric finds himself in a lot of trouble if he manages to survive the events of the video game.
5. When each playable character in the game is first introduced, the game will assign two personality based labels to them right from the get go. The player has the opportunity to potentially alter these two traits, but if they don't make a concentrated effort to do so, they'll most likely remain. Which two traits does the game assign to Rachel?

Answer: Commanding and Abrasive

Throughout the game, the player will have many, many opportunities to make Rachel say and do extremely rude, nasty things to other characters in the game. In fact, she is the only character in the game who can reduce her relationship scores with everyone else all the way down to zero if the player chooses to make her do this. On the other hand, while she can definitely be played to be incredibly unlikeable, she also has a vast amount of leadership experience in her backstory, has garnered the respect of her subordinates, and can be played as the group's leader figure quite easily as well.
6. During the game, Jason can potentially talk about why he decided to enlist in the military initially. What reason does he provide for wanting to do so?

Answer: To honor the dead of 9/11

Depending on player decision to this point, Salim, who prompts Jason to discuss this subject, can either tell him that his reasoning for joining is good, or "think as you like"- suggesting Salim doesn't trust that Jason is being truthful.

As it turns out, Jason was indeed lying. Still, honoring the dead is the reason he initially gives.

Answer: History

Nick's tendency to be somewhat of a bonehead is a recurring theme in the story. Depending on player decision, Nick can get himself killed via indecisiveness while in the middle of fighting vampires. He can also cause Eric and Rachel to be killed via issuing them incorrect information on where he put active explosives, causing them to run into said explosives and die immediately.
8. Early in the game, Rachel proves to be bilingual as she interrogates a group of Iranian farmers using perfect Arabic. However, she isn't the only bilingual character. Which other main character is capable of speaking multiple languages fluently?

Answer: Salim

Salim is able to communicate in both Arabic and English very fluently. This helps him to ease tension during a conflict between himself, Dar and the Americans when they meet in close quarters shortly before getting assaulted by vampires. Being able to knock over the language barrier the others have with one another proves very helpful, as not even his Commander Dar happens to know English as well.
9. With one exception, every character in the game has the potential to die at multiple different points of the story. This one character, however, will always be killed and it will only be in one specific scene. Who is this?

Answer: Dar

During the assault on the temple, Dar will always be killed. He either has his throat torn out by an infected, undead Clarice, or if she isn't present, he will be cornered and overwhelmed by a small group of vampires. He cannot die in anyway up until this point, but he also cannot survive this assault no matter what decisions or actions the player takes.

While other characters, such as Clarice or Joey, cannot survive until the end of the game, they can at least potentially die at different points in the game if the player is interested in preserving them as long as possible. Dar, on the other hand, has his fate hardlined into always dying during the assault on the temple somehow.

Answer: Merwin

If he has been kept alive, Merwin will repair the radio thanks to his expertise in being a technician. However, he can very easily end up being killed far earlier in the story, so the player must make a concentrated effort to keep him alive. If he is killed, the radio cannot be repaired and air support can be called in, making the final battle quite a bit more challenging.
