1. You just crashed your airship and are in the process of searching for the princess. Where are you?

Garnet gets captured by the Plant Brain. In order to let Zidane escape, Blank sacrifices himself to the forest.

2. You just climbed a rope out of a cave by a family of moogles. Where are you?

Answer: Popos Heights

The Popos Heights contains Grand Dragons which pack quite the punch. Avoid this area when you first are abe to access it. The Rainbow Garuda is found in the eastern forest of the heights if you choose to do the friendly monster sidequest.

3. You just fell through a chain gate. Where are you?

Answer: Treno Weapon Shop

You fight a griffin an disc 2, a catoblepas and an amdusias on disc 3, and a behemoth on disc 4. Each one gives a worthy reward.

4. You and your chocobo have just jumped off a cliff into the bubbling ocean. Where are you?

Answer: Quan's Dwelling

Quan's dwelling is where Vivi and his grandfather lived until Quan died. By diving into the ocean here you obtain a Tiger Racket, a Red Rose card, 9 garnets, and 15 topazes.

5. You just dug a moogle out of a wall. Where are you?

Answer: Fossil Roo

This "minigame" allows you to pay a potion in order to dig for much more valuable items. Finding Kuppo also continues the moogle letter chain.

6. You just found the source of all Mist. Where are you?

Answer: Ilfa Tree

The Ilfa Tree hosts the major turning point of the game. Kuja battles Queen Brahne for total control over the eidolons.

7. You just fought Tantarian in the library. Where are you?

Answer: Alexandria

Tantarian is a blue mouse monster that hides inside a book in the library. Defeating him nets you the Running Shoes accessory in addition to 30 AP.

8. You just twisted and turned your way through a canyon to Oeilvert. Where are you?

Answer: Seaways Canyon

It's quite easy to get lost in the canyon and take several minutes to navigate through to Oeilvert. However, the canyon walls do hide two mountain cracks, each with its own exceptional treasure.

9. You find yourself in double-sided castle where the weak dominate. Where are you?

Answer: Ipsen's Castle

The treasure chests in the castle contain the starting weapons of the game, in case you didn't save them. Even though the weakest weapons are the strongest here, the weakest armor doesn't share the same advantage.

10. You just took a ride on a large water slide. Where are you?

Answer: Chocobo's Paradise

Chocobo's Paradise can be found on an island in the north-west corner of the map. Use a dead pepper to open the mountain crack and welcome to the chocobo's true home.
