In the beginning of the game, it's the day before summer vacation! Because of your "behavior", you're told by your teacher to go to the library and help the librarian before going home.

Answer: Adelle

Not too far after starting the game, you meet a thief named Adelle. She prefers traveling alone, but she joins you later anyway. Late in the game you have an optional sidequest about Adelle, you'll learn she has immense power. After completing the sidequest, Adelle is allowed to become the Heritor class, a class that uses instinct. You start out with Lennart, an instinct that fires a beam in front of you to damage all enemies within a 4 square range of where you are facing.

Answer: Lezaford

Later in the game, once you unlock the Aldanna Range part of the map, there is a small hut. Inside the hut, is a man named Lezaford. He teaches you things, and then you won't be able to speak to him again till MUCH later.

Answer: Sleep for 20, 60, or 200 days

Lezaford leaves his house "unattended" until the time it becomes something important later in the game and it serves as a resting place. Using it, you can sleep for a total of 20, 60, or 200 days! This may seem like a bad idea, but it's a good way to do things.

While asleep, days pass meaning you could pass through months quicker, or you could sleep until your quests are available again, or sleep while you wait for a dispatch party comes back.

Answer: Loot and Items with Scions

During the course of the game, sometimes a thing called a "cup" will be available. Now these cups must be done in order, starting with the Camoa Cup. After completing a cup, you are given loot and an item with something called a Scion in it. Scions are beings that require your Smash Gauge to be full to use.

Answer: Heals your party, cures debuffs, and deals holy damage to enemies

In the game, you can obtain an item called the High Seraph's Plume. This item, when equipped to a person, gives them the Scion, Ultima. Ultima heals the entire party, gets rid of almost any debuff, and deals holy damage unto the foes.

In the beginning, you open a book and travel to a new world. There you find yourself in a battlefield where a clan is fighting a giant bird. The leader, Cid, tells you if you wish to live, you must swear allegiance to their clan's judge. After you do so, you join the clan, and after you do so, Cid is a clan member you can't dismiss.

You meet a Moogle later in the game that goes by Hurdy. Hurdy is a bard, with a voice so great, his songs are magick. He can learn several songs, using instruments as his main weapon.

Answer: Vaan

Later in the game, a quest pops up. It's a quest about troublemakers onboard a Sky Ship. The troublemakers are caught by a Sky Pirate and his partner. The Sky Pirate is Vaan, and although Panelo IS a Sky Pirate, she's actually a Dancer.

Answer: Illua

Later, a lady that knows Cid appears, and she's no pushover. In fact, she's so much of a non-pushover, she's actually made the second-to-last boss! She's annoying at first with her ability to deal high damage to a large area with an attack called Dimensional Rift. Suring your final fight with her, she gets an attack called Sheol, that she can use when she has less than 300 HP.

This attack can Slow, Immobilize, or Disable your entire party, while casting Haste and Regen on herself and allies. If that's not bad enough, when her HP is critical, if you don't kill her before her turn, she'll use Rebirth, which completely heals her.
