Hi-Wall casts Protect, Reflect, and Shell on the party. A very useful item against Angra Mainyu since it casts flare against the party. In fact, if you can reflect Flare back at Angra Mainyu, it does 9999 damage to the monster!

Hayate casts Haste on the user and increases her evasion. No Fear casts Protect and Shell on the user, so it's a useful spell against a tough monster. Fingersnap returns an enemy's attributes to normal level.

Out of all the dresspheres, the Dark Knight has the most immunities. Next to its great strength and defense, this dressphere is recommended for its many magic skills.

Next to the dressphere's many counterattack abilities, the Berserker is used for its auto-healing purposes. The dressphere's HP and Strength are one of the greatest of the rest.

Most people do not obtain this key item due to its long and patient acquiring. You must first defeat the Al Bhed's 'Experiment' in Chapter 5 at Djose Temple with it at a low level. After that, you must dig enough parts in the Bikanel Desert to enhance its Strength, Defense, and Special levels to difficulty level 5. Upon defeating it at level 5, you obtain this valuable key item.

By the way, the Magical Masque ability for the Songstress nullifies all magical attacks while dancing.

For those who are confused, this basically means subtract the AP required to learn Black Magic Lv.2 from Black Magic Lv.3. Since Blk. Magic Lv.2 requires 40 AP and Blk. Magic Lv.3 requires 60 AP, (60-40) the difference is 20 AP.

This basically means add the AP required to learn Full-Cure to the MP required to learn to cast it. It takes 80 AP to learn and 99 MP to cast, so 80+99=179.

The Supreme Gem basically casts Ultima on the enemy. Since you can only cast Ultima using the correct Garment Grid, the Supreme Gem is the next best thing. However, these items are just as hard to get, so your better off trying to line up three cherries in the Item Reels.

The Gucumatz is a basilisk. This means that it can use abilities such as Stone Gaze and Heaven's Cataract. It doesn't offer that much EXP, but you can collect Stone Shocks from it by stealing.

This fiend is only found in Via Infinito, and is extremely difficult to beat unless you have a good amount of HP. It is good to have Berserkers equipped that know the ability 'Evade and Counter', so they would never be KO'd.

The Guardian Beast is considered a boss in Chapter 1, and considered a random fiend in Via Infinito, Chapter 5. Its regular level is 18 and its oversouled level is 26.

Jumbo Cactuar, Humbaba, and Paragon are all bosses. Jumbo Cactuar can only be fought once in the Cactuar Hollow, but can be oversouled if he is the tenth Cactuar you fight. Humbaba and Paragon are fought in Via Infinito and CAN be oversouled. A Monolith, however, can not be oversouled.
