You fight Sinspawn Ammes in Tidus' Zanarkand with Auron. This is at the very beginning of the game, just before Tidus is transported to Spira. You don't fight Sinspawn Gui until "Operation Mi'ihen', which is when Seymour joins you for one battle.

You can customize your weapons and armor to your liking. Every time you add a new ability, there's a good chance the name of the equipment will change. Rikku is the only character that uses Targes.

To unlock Anima, you must have recieved all the hidden items in the other temples by using the destruction spheres. This includes the item in Zanarkand's Temple, which you must revisit after going to Baaj.

This can be a devastating attack if you are unprepared. The best way to counter this is to leave the zombie effect on that she causes in her second form. That way anyone with zombie status will not be killed when she casts Megadeath. Having Deathproof on you armor helps too.

Anima's fayth was Seymour's mother, as you can see when you receive the Aeon. The fayth feels guilt over her son's madness, and asks Yuna to stop him.

You can find the Spirit Lance after activating three of the cactuar stones in the Thunder Plains. To unlock the weapon's true power, you need the Saturn Crest and Saturn Sigil. Horn of the Ronso is nice too since it has the triple AP ability.

You can change all of the Aeons names. The Magus Sisters were also in an eariler installment of the series, "Final Fantasy IV". They are the most powerful summon in this version, thanks to little Mindy's Passado attack.

Towards the end of the game, you can find the old man Maechan on Mt. Gagazet. He will ramble at length about the origin of Sin and the fayths. Yu Yevon was once a summoner, and is now the immortal that creates Sin anew at the end of every Calm. This means that Yunalesca fought her own father to bring the first Calm.
