Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. There is a hero for every profession in "Guild Wars". Which of these heroes is of the Paragon profession?

Answer: General Morgahn

General Morgahn is a Paragon obtained in the "Nightfall" campaign. Master of Whispers, Kahmu, and Xandra are a Necromancer, a Dervish, and a Ritualist respectively.
2. There are only two heroes that have the Ranger primary profession.

Answer: false

There are actually three Ranger-profession heroes: Acolyte Jin, Margrid the Sly, and Pyre Fierceshot. There are at least two heroes for every primary profession; however, there are cases where there are three, such as Ranger and Elementalist.
3. Which of these heroes is of the human race?

Answer: Norgu

Norgu is a human, who is an actor from Vabbi. Jora is a Norn, determined to regain her ability to transform into a bear. Vekk is a young Asuran, a race known for their intelligence and arrogance. Razah, although seemingly human, is actually an entity.
4. In the "Nightfall" campaign, there are several points in the game where the player must make a choice between two quests, often resulting in different heroes as a reward. Which of these heroes will you get no matter what path you take?

Answer: Melonni

Melonni is acquired quite early in the Nightfall campaign, and is very integral to the storyline. The other three are "mutually exclusive", and if one is chosen over the other hero available at that time, the player cannot acquire the other hero until "Nightfall" is completed.
5. Which of these is NOT an obtainable hero?

Answer: Kormir

Kormir, although a key character to the main storyline of "Nightfall", is not a hero. Anton, Gwen, and Hayda are all obtainable in "Eye of the North".
6. Whenever there is more than one of the same hero in a party, one remains the original, and the other "copies" have their name replaced with a description (i.e. Koss appears as "Sunspear Warrior" when there is more than one). Which hero has the description of "Young Monk?"

Answer: Tahlkora

This occurrence is not limited to party members. When there is more than one of the same hero in an area (such as the Command Post outside of the Sunspear Sanctuary), the hero becomes an NPC while the other within the party changes to a generic title.
7. When initially acquired in PvE, which of these heroes starts off at level 20?

Answer: Razah

Zhed Shadowhoof, Zenmai, and Goren all start off at a level lower than 20, as they are acquired towards the beginning half of the Nightfall campaign. Razah, however, is acquired after the completion of "Nightfall", and to match the difficulty of the enemies encountered as well as the own player's level, starts off at level 20, no extra training required.
8. Which hero is obtained after completing the quest "All for One and One for Justice?"

Answer: Olias

Olias and Zenmai are two special heroes, as they are completely optional and require the campaigns of "Prophecies" and "Factions" respectively to have them join the party. The quest "All for One and One for Justice" rewards Olias joining the party upon completion.
9. Which of these objects do you need to upgrade the armor of a hero?

Answer: Cloth of the Brotherhood

The Cloth of the Brotherhood is a reward after completing Glint's Challenge, located in the Central Transfer Chamber. Like items similar to it, its only purpose is to upgrade hero's armor, changing the appearance of the armor and making the hero eligible for placement in the Hall of Monuments.

The other three options are just rare crafting materials.
10. How many heroes are there in total?

Answer: 26

There are 26 heroes: Koss, Dunkoro, Melonni, Acolyte Jin, Acolyte Sousuke, Tahlkora, Olias, Zenmai, Zhed Shadowhoof, Margrid the Sly, Master of Whispers, Goren, Norgu, General Morgahn, Razah, Ogden Stonehealer, Vekk, Gwen, Xandra, Kahmu, Livia, Hayda, Pyre Fierceshot, Anton, Jora, and M.O.X.. Fifteen (including M.O.X.) are obtainable in the "Nightfall" campaign, and the other eleven are found in "Eye of the North".
