Although MegaDeth is a quite popular heavy-metal band, they did not appear on the setlist. Slayer's song "War Ensemble" can be found in the final tier in the Guitar Career Mode. Mercyful Fate contributed "Evil" and Thin Lizzy's hit "The Boys Are Back In Town" also makes an appearance on the game.

Playing the song "Ace of Spades" unlocks Lemmy and performing "Evil" unlocks King Diamond.
