The ultimate goal is to take a large chest with a hefty amount of gold from the heart of the particular map being played on, where the vault is located. Killing guards and other players grants experience and possibly gold, and is helpful, but is not the goal itself.

The Sheriff has an absolutely ridiculous health bar. To put into perspective, if you took all of the HP that his minion guards and knights have and added it together, it wouldn't even be half of the Sheriff's health.

Even if a group of players somehow manages to deplete his HP to zero, all it will do is stun him. He will drop to one knee for about a minute, then rise and regain all of his health back.

Simply put, do not mess with this man.

Answer: Infinite

No matter what character, no matter what perks or abilities a player may have, a single hit from the Sheriff immediately kills them. To be specific, if the Sheriff gets into close contact with a character, he will pick them up, throw them on the ground and forcefully stomp on them, killing them instantly.

Answer: Robin

Robin Hood himself is one of four playable characters in the game. His class is the Hunter, so if an enemy Robin is ever pinged by an ally, their character will identify him as a 'ranger'.

Answer: John

John, holding the title of 'Brawler' is the strongest character of the four playable options. He is ideal for lifting heavy chests of treasure, winching the notch to extract the treasure, and engaging enemies in close quarters with his huge hammer. He is also the only character capable of forcing open a Portculis, enabling his allies to travel through it.

Answer: Marianne

Arguably the hardest character in the game to learn, Marianne holds the title of 'Hunter'. Her shtick is staying hidden and picking foes off from the Shadows. She is ideal for pickpocketing the key to the treasure vault, as well as sneaking over to the vault in order to use the key silently.

She is notably the slowest character in the game and has serious issues fighting in close quarters once discovered, so the player must be skilled at stealthy maneuvers to make good use of her.

Answer: Tooke

Tooke is the 'Mystic' of the game, and will be identified as such by other characters who spot him. He is the second strongest character in the game, much stronger than Robin and Marianne but still much behind John in that regard. While he isn't necessarily ideal for any one thing, he is very versatile and his skills are still highly appreciated.

He is quite adept in close quarters, using his flail to out-range enemy John players and make quick work of a Marianne who broke their stealth. As alluded to in the question, his power enables him to heal his teammates and simultaneously reveal the locations of enemies within a small radius.

This could be useful for revealing the cover of a stealthy Marianne, or a Robin who has taken a position and is trying to snipe the Tooke player's teammates.

Answer: The Sheriff

The Sheriff keeps the key strapped to the backside of his belt. Obviously, one must be very particular about how to go about pilfering it off of him; the slightest mistake would prove lethal!

Answer: Opening the vault and taking the chest

Taking the chest from the vault requires the key to the vault. Once acquired, the location of the vault will be identified by the game. The player must try to remain hidden and make their way there, making careful not to draw the attention of the Sheriff and his henchmen, as well as remaining out of the enemy's sights.

Answer: Successfully extract the treasure

Once the chest is in hand, the player's team must escort them to one of three extraction points. Once arrived, the team must extract the chest, boarding it onto their ship and leaving. The enemy team can intervene easily, and if they do, there is still ample opportunity for them to win the game.
