The Arulco rebels are hiding out in the ruins of Omerta, a city obliterated by the Queen's army. This is where you start the game. Over time, you may be able to recruit all four rebels (Dimitri is the fourth), although their fighting skills do leave something to be desired.

Conrad is the odd-man-out, as he is in fact under the employ of Queen Deidranna. He can, nonetheless, be recruited into your team for a daily paycheck.

Answer: Devin

Devin is hinted to have close ties with an Irish terrorist group. He sells many types of explosives, but unfortunately there is limited use for such items in "Jagged Alliance 2". Still, you can get good prices on grenades, and he might even carry a mortar shell or two. Both Devin and Micky move around the country, and can usually be found at one of the bars. Micky buys bloodcat remains.

Answer: Porn shop

Tony is the only local merchant who deals with all manners of weaponry. He will gladly buy weapons from you, making him a good income supplement. His selection may not always be satisfactory, but his prices sure beat buying guns on the internet.
Tony is hiding at the back of a porn shop in San-Mona. To get to him you'll have to placate the store's proprietor/frontman, Hans, which requires a bit of creative thinking.

Answer: Eldin

The old man is guarding the museum's main attraction (and pretty much the only real exhibit) - the Chalice of Chance, stolen by the Queen's troops from the ruins at Chitzena. Eldin patrols the museum at most hours of the day, and if you intend to snatch the Chalice you would need to figure out the exact time to slip past him, disable the security system, grab the Chalice, and get out without being seen. If he sees you, he'll invariably attack, which means you'll have to kill him...

This will not bode well with your reputation, and may make it impossible to recruit militia to defend the town of Balime, where the museum is.

Answer: Darren

Darrel and Daryl, and about a dozen other unnamed members of their red-necked family, live about an hour east of the Cambria University (of all places!). They're a nuisance to the town, but cannot be removed easily as they are all well-armed with shotguns and other weaponry. Getting rid of them will cause a good boost to your local popularity, if you can survive the fight. Alternately, if you're in dire need of firearms, there's another way to get a hold of some of their stash, which involves (not surprisingly) a shotgun wedding.

Answer: Alma

Sergeant Krott works at the Alma military base. If you assault the training facility at Alma, there's a good chance that the enemy will blow up a section of the base to prevent its secrets from falling into your hands. Sergeant Krott will invariably be injured in the explosion. If you're smart enough to help him out, he may boost your local popularity.

Answer: Nothing

Fredo doesn't sell items, he sells service. In fact, he will repair electronic items for money. While this may be a costly solution, Fredo is usually much faster at repairing such items than the average merc, which could save a lot of time. Still, there are several mercs that could easily repair as fast as Fredo, but he has one card up his sleeve: if you find a certain weapon that has an electronic lock on it, Fredo might be able to reset that lock.

Answer: Grumm

The De Santos brothers all look remarkably similar. In fact, four of them look exactly the same. One of the brothers will comment that the similarity is so great that he has managed to sleep with three of his brothers' wives. One brother is distinctly different though - he may look similar to the others, but is kind of dim-witted.

You will find two De Santos brothers in Drassen, and two in San Mona. The fifth is found in Grumm.

Answer: Martha

Martha's son, Joey, has run away from home. She's very distraught about the whole thing, and believes he has gone to the Estoni junkyard where there is "lots of adventure to be had". She's pretty sure he hasn't gone to San Mona - after all, why would a teenage boy want to go to a town that's full of booze, prostitutes and guns?

Now guess where Joey is.

Answer: MadLab

Kairns escaped the Queen's employ and is hiding out somewhere in the wilderness. He was forced to use his scientific skills to create new weapons for the Queen, something he found rather distasteful. Now, he spends his entire time plotting to assassinate her. If you find Dr. Kairns, he may give you a new addition to your team.

It's not a mercenary per-se, but it may really help you in your final assault against the palace.
