Answer: Radiant Garden

Kairi's home world is revealed to be Radiant Garden in "Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep". She lived there with her grandmother. Kairi lives on Destiny Islands in "Kingdom Hearts". It was said that she arrived there with no memory of where she was from, and lived with the mayor.

Answer: Sora and Riku

Naminé is Kairi's Nobody form "Kingdom Hearts II", and Xion is a false Nobody. Tidus and Waka live on Destiny islands, but they aren't Kairi's best friends. Donald and Goofy are not from the Islands. Sora, Riku, and Kairi spent all their time together after Kairi came to the Islands.

The three of them want to go out and see new worlds on their raft, but darkness consumes their world before they are able to go out. Still, they go onto other worlds and have many adventures.

Answer: She's unconscious

The only amnesia Kairi suffers is the name of her home world. When the darkness came, Sora discovered her in the Secret Place. When he tried to grab her as wind blew her away, she went right through him. In Hollow Bastion, Riku revealed to Sora that Kairi's heart was within his own.

When Kairi is seen in Neverland, she is in a zombie-like unconscious state. Riku is trying to save her while in that world.

Answer: Aqua

Master Eraquis never leaves his world, so he has no way of meeting Kairi. Aqua met her in Radiant Garden, when she was being chased by unversed. Aqua saved her from them, and Kairi gives her flowers as a token of her thanks. Aqua gave her a protective charm. She said that one day, when Kairi was in trouble, her inner light would lead her to someone who would protect her.

Answer: Princess of Heart

Kairi is one of the Princess of Heart. The Princesses of Heart have pure lights inside of them. There are seven in total. The seven Princesses are Jasmine, Aurora, Belle, Cinderella, Snow White, Kairi, and Alice. The princesses appear in Hollow Bastion after Ansem and Riku are defeated there.

Kairi picks Sora's heartless from out of a crowd of shadow Heartless. She hugs him and tells him that she will protect him. Sora then turns back into his original form in her embrace.

Answer: She returns to Destiny Islands

Riku is sealed inside the Door of Darkness with King Mickey. Sora is free to go on his own way and continue his adventures. Kairi, however, stands on a little piece of Destiny Islands. It is separating from the chunk of land Sora is on. He goes to Kairi, telling her that he will come back to her once he finds Riku and King Mickey. Kairi says she will wait for him, and then is teleported back to Destiny Islands.

Answer: She's wearing a school uniform

Among the numerous changes that have happened to Kairi in the year after "Kingdom Hearts", her wardrobe changes quite a bit. The first time she is seen, however she is wearing a school uniform. The uniform contains a plaid blue skit, a white shirt, a plaid pale blue tie, high blue socks, and dark shoes. Kairi is later seen in her typical "Kingdom Hearts II" attire; a pink dress.

The manual to "Kingdom Hearts" says that Kairi is fourteen. Since "Kingdom Hearts II" is a year after "Kingdom Hearts", Kairi is fifteen. This makes her the same age as Sora, but a year younger then Riku. In "Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep", she is four years old.

Answer: Naminé

Selphie is Kairi's friend from Destiny Islands, Yuffie is a "Final Fantasy VII" character, and Xion is a false Nobody made from Sora's memories of Kairi. Naminé and Sora's Nobody, Roxas, appear to be friends of some sort. The names of most humanoid-Nobodies come from the letters of their human name jumbled up, and an 'x' thrown in there somewhere. Naminé is the only humanoid-Nobody to have a name not made in this format.

Answer: Naminé interfering with Sora's memories

Naminé is a Nobody, but she is also a witch that can manipulate memories. After being forced to interfere with Sora's memories in "Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories", Naminé works alongside Diz to restore them while Sora is sleeping. Her attempts to fix his memory cause both Roxas and Xion to have memory lapses, and cause Kairi to forget his name.

When Roxas accidentally contacts her instead of Naminé, Sora seizes the opportunity to talk to her. He scolds her for forgetting his name, and says it starts with an 'S'.

After Kairi sent out a message in a bottle, she remembers his name.

Answer: Axel

Axel first tried to take Kairi with him at Destiny Islands. However, she told him that he wasn't being friendly and escaped into a dark portal with Pluto; King Mickey's dog. She is released into the Usual Spot in Twilight Town. It is there that she befriends Hayner, Pence, and Olette; three teens from the world. Axel comes after her again to kidnap her. Hayner and pence try to stop him, but they fall right through him. Axel later apologizes to Sora for kidnapping Kairi and asks Sora to relay the message to her.

Answer: Destiny's Embrace

Riku gives Kairi this Keyblade in The World That Never Was. They found Sora being attacked by Heartless and decide to intervene. Destiny's Embrace looks harmless, but it's as tough as any other Keyblade! The teeth part of the key is made up of flowers.

Answer: Grandmother

Most of Kairi's family is unknown as of "Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance". It was revealed in "Kingdom Hearts" that she had a grandmother, in one of Sora's visions. Kairi's grandmother calls to her while Kairi is talking with Aqua. Kairi then asks her grandmother to tell her 'the story' again. The grandmother then tells the story of Light and Darkness.

Answer: She found him sleeping on the beach

After having a strange dream, Sora awakens on the beach of Destiny Islands to Kairi smiling down at him. She says, "Sora, you lazy bum. I knew that I'd find you snoozing down here." After talking for a little bit, they then race off after Riku to begin building the raft.
