Speed is strained to a very high extent, which is what makes the Infected so dangerous. With this comes Leg Strength, allowing the Infected to fall from great heights and sustain no injury to their legs. They also have fairly increased arm strength, and can scale fences or climb objects with ease.

However, their hearing is not affected, and the only noise they can hear from far away are beeping noises like pipe bomb detonators or car alarms, as well as gunshots.

Answer: Red Mist

Red Mist is actually the name of an achievement that requires you to kill 1000 Infected with a mounted machine gun. The campaigns (in order) are called No Mercy, Death Toll, Dead Air, and Blood Harvest. Most people believe that the campaigns are also in order of difficulty, and it has been agreed that Blood Harvest is the most difficult, though the true difficulty of the other three campaigns is debatable.

Answer: Tank

You are never rescued by a tank, though you are rescued by an APC at the end of the Blood Harvest campaign. As for the Helicopter, Airplane and Boat, they all do rescue you, and apparently, they all miserably fail and manage to leave you in another horrible situation.

Answer: Bill, Francis, Louis, Zoey

Bill, Francis, Louis, and Zoey are the names of the four Survivors. Bill is the old war veteran, Francis is the biker, Louis is the corporate lackey, and Zoey is the university student. They all have varying personalities, for example, Francis is always complaining about things that he hates, and Bill tends to talk about his days back in Vietnam when he comes across visual reminders, such as the Assault Rifle.

Answer: Stomper

The Stomper is not a real Special Infected, and is completely out of my own mind. The Smoker and the Boomer are rather common Special Infected, though there can only be one spawned at a time. The Hunter is the most common, as you can have several of them spawned at a time.

Originally, Valve did intend for them to be playable, but decided it would be too overpowered. The Smoker, Boomer and Hunter are all playable, as is the Tank, though you will only get a chance to play the Tank when the Survivors trigger an event that calls for one, or enter an area that spawns a Tank.

Answer: Tank

Though the tank is missing his lower jaw and his tongue tends to flop about, he doesn't use it. The Smoker uses his tongue to snare you and strangle you, the Boomer uses his mouth to projectile vomit some tasty bile that the Infected gobble up like trail mix, and though indirectly, the Witch uses her mouth to devour your insides after ripping them from your body with her overgrown claws.

Answer: Desert Eagle

The only pistol in "Left 4 Dead" is the default starting weapon, which seems to be a 9mm. You can also dual-wield these pistols if you find another one laying about, but otherwise there are no other secondary weapons in "Left 4 Dead".

Answer: First Aid Kits and Pain Pills

In "Left 4 Dead", First Aid Kits are the main form of healing, and will always bring you back to green health. Pain Pills are also useful, and provide a temporary health boost, but are not to be relied on, because the health boost fades fairly quickly, and when you take damage while on Pain Pills, it will still come out of what health you have left, and not the health given by the Pills.
