1. At the start of the game Snake has his first CODEC conversation with whom?

Answer: Campbell

He first speaks to Campbell after exiting the water. He dosen't talk to Mei Ling or Master Miller until he gets out of the basement area.

2. What represents the enemies field of vision on the radar?

Answer: A blue cone

The green cone comes up on the radar when you hold the "Triangle" button.
As Mei Ling says, "Snake, the white dot in the middle is you and the red dots are the enemies; the blue cone represents their field of vision".

3. What is the name of the gunship that Snake sees at the helipad during the start of the game?

Answer: Hind D

He sees Liquid getting in to it. The Hind D is a Russian gun ship used by Liquid in a later battle with Snake. A stinger missile is used to defeat it.

4. What was the name of the project that created Solid and Liquid Snake?

Answer: Les Enfants Terribles

Liquid explains it on top of Rex just before the final fist fight. Les Enfants Terribles, meaning "Unruly Child", was used to create the ultimate super soldier, the perfect clone of Big Boss.

Grey Fox can deflect bullets with his sword. You don't have the PSG-1 until you need it to defeat Sniper Wolf. You can retrieve the Stinger at the base of communication tower 2.

He used the design of the mechs to design REX. If you take a closer look around Otacon's Lab you can find an original PlayStation console sitting on one of the desks.

If you don't do this Mantis can read your mind and you won't be able to finish the boss fight. Switching the disk won't do anything to help you during the boss fight.

Answer: Stealth Camoflage

Stealth Camo! If you carry on and don't give in you will receive the Infinite Ammo Bandanna. You have the digital camera from early on in the game. You get the Ketchup from Otacon as an aid to escape from the cell.

Snake and Otacon tell each other their names at the end of the game while getting on the snowmobile. Roy is Colonels Campbell's first name and Frank is for Grey Fox-- Frank Jaeger.

10. What was the name of the location where Frank Jaeger was originally thought to have died?

Answer: Zanzibar

In the original "Metal Gear" games on the NES Frank Jaeger (Pronounced - Yay-ger) is beaten and left crippled by Solid Snake. Later Jaeger dies but then is rebuilt by Fox Hound as a Cyborg Ninja.
