Sons of Liberty was a group of terrorists who seized control of the Big Shell during the events of "Metal Gear Solid 2". The group was led by Solidus Snake.

After his encounters with Big Boss (then Naked Snake) during Operation Snake Eater, Revolver Ocelot adopted the Colt Single Action Army Revolver as his weapon of choice due to the fact that he "curved his elbow to absorb the recoil" from the Makarov he was using. Big Boss explained that it was a common revolver technique. He then described it as "The greatest handgun ever made" during a duel with Solid Snake in "Metal Gear Solid".

The Colt Model 1873 Single Action Army Revolver was designed for the US Army by Colt's Manufacturing Company and adopted in 1873.

Like most characters, Ocelot's eyes stay the same colour throughout the saga, however Solid Snake's (for example) start off as blue later becoming greyish with a blue tint. Vamp, another example has blue eyes in "Metel Gear Solid 2", then red in "Metel Gear Solid 4".

Ocelot's hair colour in "Metal Gear Solid" was blonde. Later, in "Metal Gear Solid 4", it was white.
