1. I am the villain of the first three "Onimusha" adventures. Although, I am not fought in the first adventure I am still considered the main villain. I am killed at the Battle of Okehazama by a random arrow but am resurrected to rule the Genma. Two samurai, and a western barbarian find ways to defeat me. Who am I?

Answer: Nobunaga

Nobunaga was first defeated by Jubei Yagyu in "Onimusha 2", then by Jacques and Samanosuke in "Onimusha 3". After his final defeat, Nobunaga's soul was transported into the Oni Gauntlet that Tenkai holds in "Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams". The power of Nobunaga is used in that game to defeat Fortinbras again.

2. I was the Genma King in "Onimusha: Warlords" but a Samurai named Samanosuke defeated me. After his disappearance, a foolish Japanese emperor tried to revive me. I was reborn when the dark star reached Earth, but the "Black Oni" defeated me. Who am I?

Answer: Fortinbras

Fortinbras was originally destroyed in the keep of Inabayama Castle by the "Red Oni". He was later revived in "Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams", by Munenori Yagyu, a foolish traitor to the Yagyu clan. Soki, however, managed to hinder the Genma takeover of the world.

3. I am the greatest swordsman of all demons. I am a noble warrior of the Genma, and I defend the weak. An Oni Samurai, named Jubei, challenged me on three occasions, as he gained power each time. After saving the life of Oyu of Odani, I challenged Jubei a final time. Alas, my power was not great enough, and I was defeated. Who am I?

Answer: Gogandantess

Gogandantess first fought Jubei in the keep of Inabayama Castle. The second battle was fought on a beach, and the third was a fought in the incinerator room of Nobunaga's super fortress. Although Gogandantess was a Genma General, he was actually quite honorable and even admitted to his goodness, before his demise at the hands of Jubei.

4. I was the scientist in charge of the Genma invasion of Earth. I entertained the "Red Oni" with my grotesque creations, but each proved too weak to destroy him. By taking two of his close allies hostage I hoped to defeat him, but unfortunately, I was destroyed and my plans went to waste. Who am I?

Answer: Guildenstern

Guildenstern was first encountered in "Onimusha: Warlords", after Samanosuke defeated the Genma General who almost killed him. Guildenstern, was then seen on and off, in between games, where finally, in "Onimusha 3", Samanosuke killed him at the Paris Zoo.

The other names listed, were all creations of Guildenstern that failed to stop Samanosuke. Brainstern was a robot, Marcellus was a freakishly powerful Genma General, and Reynaldo was a pink Genma with stretchy arms.

5. I am the most beautiful of the Genma. I have a secret crush on Nobunaga, but Jubei is also a pretty good choice. Nobunaga's resentment of my beauty sends me into rage, and I fight Jubei, because of it. Unfortunately, Jubei killed me, and Nobunaga didn't care. Who am I?

Answer: Jujudormah

Jujudormah had a secret crush on Nobunaga, but the fact that he was already married to another Genma, didn't go well with her. She killed Jubei's mother, and Jubei swiftly avenged her death. After her demise, no Genma ever mentioned her name again.

6. I am the head retainer of the Oda clan. I try to defeat the "Red Oni", at Honnoji Temple, but I miserably fail. My importance to the Genma King was made apparent when he resurrected me as a Genma. I battled the "Red Oni" and a western barbarian, but yet, I still could not win. A final blow atop France's Eiffel Tower ended my life, once and for all. Who am I?

Answer: Ranmaru

Ranmaru was a teenager of only 17 years, when he tried to defeat Samanosuke. It wasn't of any use, as the Oni struck him down in almost an instant. Nobunaga didn't want to constantly fight the persistent Samanosuke, so he resurrected Ranmaru as a Genma. It still wasn't enough to hold back Samanosuke, as the Samurai cut through both Ranmaru and Nobunaga with ease.

7. I was Nobunaga's wife. I ran the slave operation at the Mont Saint Michel Castle in France. A short battle with a westerner ended up destroying me, and obviously angering my husband. Who am I?

Answer: Vega Donna

Vega Donna was a Genma General who had little consideration for human life, making her a perfect match for Nobunaga. Her emotionless ambition in holding innocent humans as slaves ended up her downfall as Jacques Blanc eliminated her with his trusty Oni Whip.

8. I was a Genma General, in charge of the mining operation at Imasho. A brave Oni named Jubei challenged my power and defeated me three times. My mission was not a complete failure as I killed one of his allies, a ninja by the name of Kotaro. Who am I?

Answer: Gingamphatts

Gingamphatts was first encountered in the center of the Imasho Gold Mine. An easy battle between Jubei and Gingamphatts resulted. In their second encounter, at a secret forest behind Yagyu Village, Gingamphatts proved to be slightly more difficult but Jubei succeeded in defeating him again.

The final encounter occurred just outside Nobunaga's lair and Gingamphatts did some damage, as he killed Kotaro. Afterwords, he was finally eliminated and sent to the depths of the underworld.

9. I am an enemy that no-one wants to make. I deserted the Yagyu Clan after completing its intense weapons program. I joined the Genma in their conquest, and saw my rise to power increase, with the more innocents I killed. A persistent young girl by the name of Jubei constantly tries to bring me down, but as her uncle, I am too powerful for that. Who am I?

Answer: Munenori

Munenori apparently hates Jubei Yagyu, the protagonist from "Onimusha 2", as he was expelled from the Yagyu Clan. Munenori is battled countless times in "Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams". Munenori was not eliminated until the very end, when the King of the Demons, Fortinbras, destroyed his arms and dropped him off of a cliff.

10. I became the Emperor of Japan after Nobunaga's downfall. My constant urge for power ended up fooling me into believing that I would be Genma King, and rule the world. I was betrayed by the Triumverates, and I ended up realizing my faults. Who am I?

Answer: Hideyoshi

Emperor Hideyoshi sold his soul to the Genma, simply to bare the seed of Fortinbras. Towards the end of "Dawn of Dreams", Ophelia informed Hideyoshi that he had outlived his usefulness, to the Genma. Immediately thereafter, Fortinbras was reborn, and Hideyoshi realized his mistake. Immediately before his death he realized the error of his ways, and even the protagonist, Soki, forgave him.

After the death of Hideyoshi and the destruction of Fortinbras, the Genma had been destroyed, or had it?
