"Paper Mario": The Quiz

Lord Crump and his gang of X-Nauts are attacking a Goomba. Mario then saves the Goomba and to thank him it joins his party.

Goombella is a student helping an old professor discover many things. She knows the move Tattle.

It's found in the sewers of Rogueport. Rogueport is the town you start in after rescuing Goombella from a gang of X-Nauts and their leader Lord Crump.

Like in most of the "Paper Mario" games you'll need to go around the paper land to collect seven of something, collecting partners along the way. The Crystal Stars all give you a different ability that you may use in battle.

The ability Earth Tremor is a very powerful move if you can execute it perfectly. The attack may or may not hit both flying and ground enemies.

The ability Showstopper, if executed well enough, will destroy all enemies in the battle. This ability does NOT work on bosses, but you can still use it to destroy any "extra" enemies in boss fights.

This town is also home to the Creepy Steeple, which lies at the end of a forest. You have to meet somebody in Rogueport from this town who then writes "Mario" on Mario's clothing, allowing entrance to the town.

When fighting him at the top of Creepy Steeple, he uses a copy ability to become Shadow Mario, but once he is defeated it is shown that the "Shadow" Mario is actually the real Mario. You must travel as a new "Shadow Mario" without any partners until you meet Vivian, one of the three Shadow Sisters who, being clumsy, dropped a VERY powerful bomb which you help her find.

Although it was broken she still thanks you and joins you, but Mario, for some reason, cannot tell her his name. Ignoring this she still joins him. With his new partner you have to go to Creepy Steeple and enter the basement, where you'll find a parakeet and by using Vivian's ability, you hide in the ground and the parrot complains saying he finally had company and they left and he shouts "Hey Doopliss! When are you going to feed me!?" Also in that room there is a Cook Book (if you give it to the cook she can cook two ingredients at once) and the letter P.

The letter is required because when you fight Doopliss (now disguised as Mario) he says he won't lose power (since they are both Mario they have the same stats) unless his name is said so you must spell it out, but, unless you get the P, you can't spell it because the P on the keyboard thing is missing! After defeating him (and your partners) he becomes his old self and you get a Crystal Star.

Answer: He joins the Shadow Sirens

Later in the game, you find out he had joined the Shadow Sirens. They only accepted him because Vivian had left them and joined Mario, so they needed another person and they got desperate.

Answer: So she could be used as a vessel for the Shadow Queen

Later in the game, while inside the Shadow Queen's Palace, you'll find her at the end, being used as a vessel for the Shadow Queen! You must fight "Shadow Queen Peach" for a few turns until she gets bored of the vessel and reverts to her true form in which she is invincible! The Crystal Stars then react and go back to the places where you found them, where all the people you've met send their wishes and stop her invincibility, and you're fully healed! Unfortunately the Shadow Queen eats the audience and fully heals, after that, you're on your own, except for the audience members that come back and start giving you Star Power like usual.
