10 Difficult Questions about Shadow the Hedgehog

Shadow spent fifty years in suspended animation, but no one knows exactly how long he spent on Space Colony ARK before that. If Shadow wasn't the ultimate life form, then he would be around 18 years old.

Answer: Black Doom

While it is true that Gerald Robotnik is Shadow's CREATOR, he used Black Doom's DNA to create Shadow. The Biolizard is the prototype of the ultimate life form, making him Shadow's older brother, and Mephiles isn't even related to Shadow, though he is Shadow's... um... shadow.

Answer: Rouge the Bat

Rouge is the only one who didn't think that Shadow was Sonic, Silver, or Mephiles. In "Sonic Adventure 2", Amy hugged Shadow, thinking he was Sonic. When Eggman first freed Shadow, he mistook Shadow for Sonic. And in "Sonic the Hedgehog (2006)", Silver thought Shadow was Mephiles.

Maria's dying wish was for Shadow to protect humanity. Shadow had his memory altered, so at first, he wanted revenge. Nothing in Maria's dying wish asked Shadow to save her grandfather.

After "Sonic Adventure 2", Shadow was thought to be dead. But in "Sonic Heroes", while Rouge the Bat was looking for Dr. Eggman's treasure, she accidentally found Shadow in a capsule. After Shadow was freed, he quickly realized that he could only remember two things: his name, and Maria's death, though he had no idea who Maria was at the time.

After beating the Finalhazard (who is the Biolizard but evolved), Super Sonic and Super Shadow were faced with the problem of stopping the Space Colony ARK from crashing into Earth. Super Sonic and Super Shadow used Chaos Control to warp the ARK back into orbit around Earth. But Shadow never made it back onto ARK. Instead he fell through the atmosphere and was presumed dead.

Shadow wasn't born... he was CREATED on Space Colony ARK. His purpose for being created was to help cure Maria Robotnik of a fatal disease called Neuro Immune Deficiency Syndrome, or N.I.D.S.

After seeing a small army of Shadow Androids, Shadow began to ask if he really was the ultimate life form. He questioned Eggman and was told that he was indeed a robot. Shadow knew that he used to know Maria because of the memories that implied it. But during the final boss battle against Devil Doom, Eggman admits that he tried to trick Shadow to get him to lower his guard.
