1. OK! First up! Who was the main bad guy in this game?

Answer: Zeon

Zeon was a toughie to beat! His HP was around 500 and his attacks included demon breath and one heck of a nasty bite!

2. Who was the first character to join your force at the beginning of the game?

Answer: Sarah

Did you know that if you wait for around 5 minutes after the credits have rolled after beating Zeon, you can play a secret game including all of the greater devils? How cool is that?!

3. Who is keeper of the ground orb?

Answer: Goddess Mitula

To save Mitula you have to beat one of the easiest Greater Devils named Zalbard. However, he has a very strong Bolt Level 2 which can quickly drain your Force Members if you aren't careful!

4. Zeon was locked away in Death valley.

Answer: False

Zeon was actually locked away in Arc Valley and his powers are locked away in the Jewel of Evil.

5. What is the name of the transport you take from Parmecia to Grans Island?

Answer: The Nazca Ship

The Nazca Ship was in the shape of a massive bird! But sadly it crash landed on arrival of Grans Island and you could not use it again!

6. What special class does Kazin get promoted to with the Secret Book when he reaches Level 20?

Answer: Sorcerer

Kazin is a Mage to begin with and if this special item is not used then he will be promoted to a Wizard after level 20. Master Monks are a special promotion through use of the Vigor Ball that only Priests have the honour of becoming and only Knights can become Pegasus Knights by using the Pegasus Wing!

7. Which of these is NOT an enemy in Shining Force 2?

Answer: Death Guard

There were many diffences in the Japanese version of the game and there is one interesting difference that may ring bells! In the garden just outside of Mitula's shrine there was a chest floating on a little island. I tried and tried to figure out how to reach the chest but to no avail! It was only later that I found out that you can only get to the chest in the Japanese version! So why is it there in the European version then?

8. What is the name of the Greater Devil that lost his memory but eventually became evil again?

Answer: Odd Eye

Odd Eye is one of the hardest Greater Devils to beat and the battle with Odd Eye contained a twist. The nearer you got to him, the harder it became to reach him due to the ground beneath you rapidly giving way!

9. What is the name of the town that you cannot enter due to the gate being locked and only Vicar Frayja can open?

Answer: Moun

In this deserted village you will find the Arm of Golem. Later on you will meet a Golem called Claude that has lost his arm and after giving it to him, he joins your team! Fancy that! A Golem on your team!

10. For a super hard final question... What is the default name of the character, that when talked to in the Tactical Base, says this: "Fighting tires me....speaking tires me...I'm tired."

Answer: Kiwi

Kiwi is found in the pet shop when you return to Granseal after being locked up in King Galam's dungeon. He isn't very strong, his defence isn't much to write home about, magic kills him in one go most of the time and his HP doesn't rise that far above 40 even after promotion! But what he lacks in power, he makes up for in... um... actually he's just completely rubbish! Why he was even created for this superb game is beyond me!
