"Skylanders" and "Skylanders: Giants" Quiz

The Arkeyans were an ancient race and were giant robots. In "Skylander: Giants" the villain Kaos discovers a robot left by the ancient Arkeyans and uses it to discover the Lost City of Arkus. In this city Kaos finds the Fist of Arkus, a robotic fist which releases both good and bad magic.

When Kaos puts the glove on he is enlarged to the giant size of the Arkeyans allowing him to wield the Fist. With this item he is able to summon a large Arkeyan army.

Whirlwind Flight belongs to Wanadoo a creature from the Air element. Unstable Forces is a power belonging to Cynder of the Undead element. Double Trouble uses Eldritch Beam which is a power in the Magic element.

Double Dose of Doom is a power up which shoots two rainbows of doom at once. Whirlwind is a dragon from the Air element who also has unicorn ancestry, hence her appearance with a single horn.

The Water element is one of eight elements that the Skylanders can belong to. Skylanders from this element can swim and use water/ice attacks to kill their enemies.

Chill is the only new character from the Water element in the "Skylander: Giants" game. The other characters were all present in the first "Skylander" game along with Wham-Shell and Slam-Bam.

Swarm is an Air Skylander who has the appearance of a giant wasp. Swarm grew up as a prince in a wasp colony but a magical side of him made him grow too big for the hive. "Skylander: Giants" was released in 2012 and was a follow up to the original "Skylander: Spyro's Adventure". In the story the giant Skylanders have been away from they Skylander world for a long period of time, being banished to Earth. They are then summoned back to help defend the Skylander world.

The giant Skylanders can only be used in the Giants game, however Skylanders from the original "Spyro's Adventure" game can be used in the sequel. The new Skylanders are known as Series 2 while the original Skylanders are Series 1.
