There are six Krazoa spirits altogether in the game. Two are found in the Krazoa Palace. One is found in the Moon Mountain Pass, one is found in the Lightfoot Village, one is found in the Walled City and one is found in the Snowhorn Wastes.

The Walled City is visited twice during gameplay. The fist time you go there is to acquire the third Spellstone hidden by the Red Eye King. After acquiring all the Spellstones and realising he needs the Krazoa Spirits too, Fox goes back to the Walled City to get the fifth Krazoa Spirit as Tricky and Peppy inform him of its whereabouts.

Cape Claw is accessible after retrieving the medium sized scarab bag. You pass the entrance to Lightfoot Village and climb and descend a few ladders to reach it. Cape Claw is also where the entrance to Ocean Force Point Temple lies, as well as a staff upgrade which can be awarded to you near the end of the game.

There are ten gold rings in each path to get to the islands and Dinosaur Planet; one gold ring is needed for Dinosaur Planet, three gold rings for Darkice Mines, five gold rings for Cloudrunner Fortress, seven gold rings for the Walled City and you need all ten gold rings for Dragon Rock.

To collect the sixth Krazoa Spirit, Fox must enter the last Krazoa Shrine in the Krazoa Palace. In this Shrine awaits General Scales who wants to engage Fox in battle. During the 'battle', a voice (Belonging to Andross) is heard and orders General Scales to give Fox the Krazoa Spirit.

The Sprirt was keeping General Scales alive and gave him power over the Sharpclaw Tribe. Fox recognised the voice from somewhere, but he only realised it was Andross when Andross was awakened. Fox chases after Andross as he plans to destroy the Lylat System.
