Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. For how long do you have to survive in the game?

Answer: 72 hours

With these 72 hours, you have several options on what to do. You can kill lots of zombies, gather survivors, find out what caused the outbreak, or hide away in the Security Room.
2. Apart from the Security Room Sofa, where is the only other place you can save your game?

Answer: Restrooms

There are several restrooms scattered across the game. You can only have one save file at a time.
3. PP or Prestige Points are gained in several ways. How can you NOT get PP?

Answer: Combining weapons

Combining weapons was brought in with "Dead Rising 2". You can also find secrets within "Dead Rising" to gain extra PP. For example, if you put a frying pan on an oven, you get 2,000 bonus PP.
4. If you play the game completing all the cases and not bothering to battle other psychopaths, you only have to face three of them. The rest are optional. Which one is optional?

Answer: Cletus

Steven is the owner of the convenience store in the North Plaza and Larry is a butcher in the Meat Processing Area underground, while Cletus is the owner of the gun shop, also in the North Plaza. Carlito is the main antagonist and you befriend his sister, Isabella, later in the game and find out more about the zombie outbreak.
5. How many different guns can you get?

Answer: Five

These guns are the Shotgun, Sniper Rifle, Handgun, Machine Gun and Submachine Gun. The shotgun, sniper and handgun can be easily found in the gun shop. The machine guns you'll have to snoop around for.
6. At night, zombies gain a big, yet subtle change. What is different about zombies in the night compared to in the day?

Answer: They take more damage

Most zombies are easy to kill, but at night this becomes a challenge. Once day returns, the zombies are weak yet again.
7. Depending on how you play the game, how many different endings can you get?

Answer: Six

Each ending is graded from A to F. If you get Ending A, you unlock Overtime Mode.
8. In Overtime Mode, you get infected by a zombie. Along with Isabella, you have 24 hours to create an antidote. This means going out and collecting ingredients while the Special Forces get ready to kill on sight. How many ingredients do you have to collect?

Answer: Eight

Once you've collected all eight ingredients, you have to get a generator and then ten queen bees. You can find the generator in the Clock Tower in the center of the mall and the bees underground by killing a big group of zombies.
9. Once you collect all the ingredients and beat the final boss, you get Infinity Mode where you consistently battle to stay alive as zombies and survivors alike try to kill you, while you still suffer from the zombie infection. Which survivor are you forced to fight as soon as you leave the Security Room?

Answer: Otis

Every survivor you beat gives a box full of weapons and health. While playing this mode, you will slowly lose health, so you will have to eat food in order to stay alive for as long as possible.
10. Frank West does make an appearance in "Dead Rising 2". How is this possible?

Answer: He appears in "Case West"

"Case West", along with "Case Zero", are exclusive downloadable stories for Xbox Live. In "Case West", Frank West and Chuck Greene form an alliance to investigate Phenotrans, a company responsible for producing Zombrex, an anti-zombie drug seen in "Dead Rising 2". Thanks for playing!
