The gang and Lloyd don't know this until the final battle with Melbu Frahma. Zieg/Melbu Frahma also reveals some things that you definitely don't know. In the final battle with Melbu Frahma, Lloyd returns and tries to get his revenge on Melbu Frahma, but he fails and dies.

Dart, Lavitz/Albert, Shana/Miranda, Rose and Haschel get thier Dragoon Spirits on disk 1. Meru and Kongol get their Dragoon Spirits on disk 2 but if you can't get Kongol's Dragoon Spirit, you can get it on disk 4. To get Kongols Dragoon Spirit on disk 2, go to Commercial Town Of Lohan and buy it for 1000G from the Street Vender.
You might think that Meru is the weakest of the gang but think again. If you manage to get her final addition and master it, then her attacks will cause 600% damage!
