In the description of the town it reads 'Before Pleasantview, there was Sunset Valley. Founded by the Goth family, and built up by the Landgraabs to be a quiet, peaceful town. But when the Altos arrived with uptown ideals, will the townsfolk feel the need to choose sides?', as the "Sims 3" serves as a prequel to "The Sims 2".

The other three towns, Veronaville, Downtown and Bluewater Village also feature in "The Sims 2".

As most "Sims" fans know, Mortimer Goth marries the glamorous and beautiful Bella Bachelor becoming arguably the two most iconic Sims in the franchise. They have two children Cassandra and Alexander. Interestingly Dina Caliente (another famous Sim in the franchise) marries Michael Bachelor, Bella's older brother.

The Alto family are 'nouveau riche' whereas the Landgraabs are old money. But this isn't just the reason for their feud. Nick Alto and Nancy Landgraab both hold the position of Vice President at the Doo Peas Corporation and are reportedly warring over who becomes the next CEO, a position currently held by Gunther Goth.

The Landgraab family, arguably the second most famous family in the franchise after the Goths, are incredibly powerful and vastly wealthy and 'more or less' founded the town of Sunset Valley, prompting Geoffrey to controversially change his last name. It is unknown whether other Sims know of this interesting little fact.

Answer: Drowned during the couple's honeymoon

Agnes Crumplebottom's bitterness is due to her husband's tragic death during there honeymoon. What is more tragic is that the couple were planning to have a baby, a room in the Crumplebottom house undergoing decoration to accommodate a baby.

Answer: Jared Frio

Claire's next door neighbour and ex-boyfriend Jared Frio is the father of her unborn baby and doesn't seem to be aware of this fact. It is ultimately up to players as to whether Jared will become a responsible father.

Answer: Summer Hill Court

Summer Hill Court is where the Landgraab Estate and the Villa Alto can be found, overlooking the city. There is also an empty 60x60 lot for players to build their own luxurious mansions!

Answer: The Sacred Spleen Memorial Hospital as a Trauma Surgeon

Jamie Jolina is a beautiful Trauma Surgeon working at the local hospital, trying to prove that beauty and brains can coexist. Despite her high-ranking career however she lives in a very small home and is also disliked by Morgana Wolff, most likely due to Jamie's friendship with Morgana's husband, Thornton.

Answer: She fears she won't make any friends

Erin Kennedy works in the military and was recently transferred over to Sunset Valley. According to her in-game bio making friends has always been difficult for her and she is worried this will be the same in Sunset Valley.

Answer: Sam Sekemoto

Sam Sekemoto is the young son of Leighton Sekemoto, who has enlisted the help of his mother Yumi to help raise him while he works. The other two members of the Roomies household are Tamara Donner and Blair Wainwright.

Answer: A Maid and Daniel Pleasant

Kaylynn becomes a maid and works in Pleasantview, working for the Pleasant family. As Daniel's wife Mary-Sue is a workaholic she has little time for her husband thus triggering his affair with his maid. Kaylynn interestingly is also embroiled in a romantic relationship with local casanova, Don Lothario.

Answer: Tragic Clown

The Tragic Clown, everyone's favourite tragic comedian. Tragically drowned in Sunset Valley and was thus buried at the tragically named Pleasant Rest Graveyard where he remains for someone to tragically resurrect him with ambrosia to make his life... more tragic.

Answer: Glowing yellow eyes

The inaccessible abandoned mine has something monstrous laying within with glowing yellow eyes! Monster... or just a trapped kitten? I sincerely hope its a monster.

Answer: Eugi's

Eugi's is an Irish themed dive bar found in the city of Bridgeport which comes with the expansion pack, "Late Night". Along with dive bars, clubs and lounges are also added with the expansion pack.
