The Ranseur is medium power spear with the annoying tendency to break, the Arbalest is one of the medium powered crossbows, and the Dragonbane is a sword that is used as a wand by mages.

Shiho and Suo met during the war in Hai Lan, Shiho was the song maiden in the forces of Suo's enemies, and even though Suo himself had spared her life, she was killed by his superior.

It's not known when did Kashell and Grey met, but it's a fact that they know each other. They were once friends, but after the death of their friend Lemia, Kashel along with their other friends, Celia and Aelia, had been searching for Grey, suspecting Grey as Lemia's killer (the fact is, that Lemia sacrificed herself in the ritual of "soul transfer" to rescue Grey's life). All of them, except Celia, had died along the way.

Orichalcum can be transmutated either into a Creation Jewel or into a Gram Sword, both items are very useful, and they can't be aquired in any other way. You can get the Fairy Bottle only in Normal mode, and you get the Manual of Ressurection only in Hard Mode, and they both can be transmutated into the highly useful Orichalcum. You can also create it in the "Divine Item" option after the 5th chapter.

The Angel Slayer is the only sword that gives you the level 3 "Nibelung Valesti". It's quite hard to get it (you must complete the "Seraphic Gate" secret dungeon 10 times), but beleve me, it's worth it. Also note that the Razor Shaft bowgun let's you use the bow version of level 3 "Nibelung Valesti".

It's the weapon that decides on the amount of that characters basic combo attacks. Level, monsters or "hero value" don't have anything to do with it.

Answer: lightning elemental spells

Counter attacks and combos (no matter how long) still don't affect their physical defense. The poison status works on all monsters, but since those have high HP, it's not all that useful. Although Lesser Dragons and Dragon Zombies die really fast when hit by a lightning elemental spell (there are only two - Prismatic Missle and Lightning Bolt). Note that they can be killed as quick when you equip yourself with a Dragon Slayer sword, which, as the name says, kills them in one hit.
