1. Where am I if I'm about to get teleported to the Labyrinth by Misery?

Answer: Sand Zone

This is a very important area. It is the area where Toroko dies, and the area where we meet Curly Brace. I really wish Misery could have died, but alas, that wasn't the case.

2. Where am I if I'm fighting Power Critters and Mannans?

Answer: Bushlands

Bushlands is also where you fight Balfrog. He's usually cited on most websites as the first boss in the game who is actually difficult.

3. Where am I if I'm fighting the Red Ogre?

Answer: Last Cave

The Red Ogre acts the same as a Droll. He throws his axes at you in a simple pattern, three in the air and then three from the ground. Upon defeat, he will give you the Medal of the Red Ogre, known as the Clay Figure Medal in PC versions of the game.

4. Where am I if I'm fighting Igor and some Rabils in the same area?

Answer: Balcony

The Balcony is the second-last area in the game. It is widely known that the Igor that appears here is the same Igor from the Egg Corridor, although some people dispute this.

5. Where am I if I'm in the original first area that was only found in the 3DS version?

Answer: Wind Fortress

This place is big. First, Curly would be here, hooked up to a cloning machine. Curly wouldn't be known by this name at this point in time, as this is a beta area. Once the cloner made 100 clones, it would kill Curly. Quote needed to stop it by defeating Balrog, who would be guarding her.

This was going to be the only time Balrog would be fought as a boss. Pixel cut this area out because he thought it would be too gruesome. This is very weird, because he kept the Blood-Stained Sanctuary and its full story. Finally, at this time, Balrog would be a regular enemy, and Quote would be called Curly.

6. Where am I if the Hermit Gunsmith just gave me the Spur?

Answer: First Cave

The Spur is widely known as the most powerful (and most broken) weapon in the game. You only need to charge it for a few seconds and it owns any enemy in one hit, except Igor and Counter Bomb.

7. Where am I if I'm about to get the Snake from Chaba?

Answer: Labyrinth

The Snake is a great weapon for speedrunning the Blood-Stained Sanctuary. It is a combination of the Polar Star and the Fireball, and it goes through walls.

8. Where am I if I'm fighting Counter Bombs and Dragon Zombies?

Answer: Egg Corridor?

The Egg Corridor? is actually the decimated version of the Egg Corridor. The Dragon Zombies are Sky Dragons that died in the eggs and had an error when hatched. You also fight the Sisters here. If you don't want to fight them, just skip the Missile Upgrade and you can just leave, although you can leave just before they come out after getting it.

This only works, however, if you have the Booster 2.0.

9. Where am I if I'm fighting Ironhead?

Answer: Waterway

Ironhead is really more of a mini-boss. If you defeat him without taking damage, you get the Alien Medal, which has a picture of an Ikachan from Pixel's mini game of the same name on it. After defeating him, you end up in the Reservoir.

10. Where am I if the gravity is to the left instead of down?

Answer: Outer Wall

This actually only happens with the hearts and energy crystals and stuff. If you want a load, then get your Nemesis and kill the Night Spirits.
