Answer: California Institute of Technology

Funded by NASA and operated by Caltech, the JPL is the lead US center for robotic exploration of our solar system. Highly ranked Caltech has less than 1,000 undergraduate students.
2. What university has been closed in 1229, 1940, and 1968?

Answer: University of Paris

In 1229 the university closed in response to a student riot. In 1940 it was closed due to the German invasion. Student unrest was again the cause of the closure in May 1968.
3. To what college was Daniel Webster referring when, in a historic 1816 case before the U.S. Supreme Court, he concluded: "It is, Sir, as I have said, a small college. And yet there are those who love it"?

Answer: Dartmouth College

Daniel Webster, an alumnus of the class of 1801, presented the College's case in Trustees of Dartmouth College v. Woodward, and successfully blocked the New
Hampshire legislature's attempt to force the College to become a public institution. Dartmouth is the college of choice of Edward and Bella in the "Twilight" series.

Answer: University of Tennessee

Tennessee defeated Florida State 23-16, but the Seminoles rebounded to win the National Championship the next year. The Volunteers have claimed six national titles: 1938, 1940, 1950, 1951, 1967, and 1998.
9. What Texas university is the largest Baptist university in the world by enrollment?

Answer: Baylor University

Baylor is a private Baptist university in Waco, Texas with total enrollment of 14,541 in 2008. TCU is affiliated with, but not governed by, the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Southwestern is affiliated with The United Methodist Church. SMU, not surprisingly, is also Methodist.
10. What school's team nickname is the Radicals?

Answer: Antioch College
