2. Which president was the oldest person elected president in the twentieth century?

Answer: Ronald Reagan

Ronald Reagan was 69 years old when elected. He held the record until 2017, when Donald Trump became president at the age of 70.
3. Which of these presidents was related to another?

John Adams was the father of John Quincy Adams. Benjamin Harrison was the grandson of William H. Harrison and the Roosevelts were cousins.
4. Which president was the youngest person to become president? (Be careful with this one!)?

Answer: Theodore Roosevelt

Roosevelt was the youngest to BECOME president - he took over the office at the age of 42 upon the assassination of William McKinley. Kennedy was the youngest person ELECTED president at the age of 43.
5. Which president served the shortest time in office?

Answer: William H. Harrison

Williams H. Harrison served only one month before dying in office in April, 1841.
6. Which president served the longest amount of time?

Answer: Franklin D. Roosevelt

FDR served from 1933 until his death in 1945. He was one of the most beloved presidents and the only one to serve 3 full terms (Reagan probably would have been elected to a third term except that now the law limits the president's consecutive terms to two.)
7. Which of these US presidents was the only to serve two non-consecutive terms?

Answer: Grover Cleveland

Cleveland served one term, was beat out by Benjamin Harrison and at the end of Harrison's term was elected again for another 4 years.
8. Who was the only president to have been impeached and forced to leave office?

Answer: none - this never happened

Contrary to popular belief, Andrew Johnson, although impeached by the house, the articles of impeachment were not passed by the Senate and he finished his term in office. Richard Nixon chose to resign before he could be impeached. Bill Clinton was impeached, though not convicted.
9. How many presidents were assassinated in office?

Answer: 4

2 in the 19th century - Abraham Lincoln and James Garfield and 2 in the 20th century - William McKinley and John F. Kennedy. Ford had a gun pointed at him by two different people and Reagan was shot by John Hinkley but as we know, these presidents both survived.
10. Who was the first president to appear on television?

Answer: Franklin D. Roosevelt

Franklin D. Roosevelt was the first president to appear on television in 1939, although not many people saw this as most did not own television sets at this time.
