Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. In a "viral fav" of the good ole' days, this Wendy's commercial involves three old women discussing how big a certain hamburger's buns are. They open it up to reveal a rather tiny patty. One of the old women looks and looks and then exclaims this, "Where's the _________?"

Answer: beef

Everybody's favorite! The commercial was created by Joe Sadelmaier... I wonder how he thought it up. Anyway, the huge tire-sized buns completely obscure the regular small beef patty. Poor "Martha" just can't find the beef in her old age.
2. In this Super Bowl XL commercial for Budweiser, a smart young man has found a way to hide his beer... in a revolving fridge that disappears to the other side of the wall, James Bond style. The problem is, the guy in the apartment next door find this fridge full of beer and tells his friends to come and help him get it all as he yells,"Guys! Come quick, the _________ _________ is back!"

Answer: magic fridge

Definitely an instant classic! I just wonder what the poor guy did when he found out his beer was all gone. Anheuser Busch usually spends exponentially more money on Superbowl commercials than their regular advertising.
3. I'm not even gonna introduce this one for McDonald's: "Two all _______ patties, special sauce, lettuce, _______, pickles, onions, on a sesame seed bun!"

Answer: beef, cheese

If you missed this one... WATCH TV! The head honchos at McDonald's had their SUPER-BRAIN, AWESOME thinking caps on when they thought of the Big-Mac... and its commercial.
4. Here's one for Verizon Wireless: "Can you hear me now?..._______"

Answer: good

This was a very creative commercial, in my opinion. The curious man walks from the arctics to the rainforest, from harsh deserts to sunny beaches trying to figure out how extensive his service really is. So far, he hasn't been failed.
5. Here's one from Head-on: "Head-On, apply directly to the ________!"

Answer: forehead

This line is said over and over again, WAY too many times in the commercial! Apparently, they don't want people applying it anywhere else.
6. In this Bud Light commercial, two roommates are put in a dozen situations. One of the men can't believe the actions his roommate makes. He shows his disapproval with one word, said in many different tones to show how the different tones show his thoughts on the other. What word does he repeatedly use?

Answer: dude

Applying the rule of "the universal language of dude", 'dude' can be used dozens of ways according to this commercial. You can get your emotions across with no trouble with this small, but powerful word.
7. GoDaddy.com: What is the only line sung in the GoDaddy.com commercials?

Answer: Go Daddy

Yeah, it's exactly what you thought it was but didn't click on because you thought it was too easy. Yeah, these GoDaddy commercials mean business! If a hot young woman stripping for the camera doesn't get millions of football-watching men to go to the website, then nothing will!
8. In an old Superbowl commercial for E-Trade, there are two old men and a monkey sitting on white buckets. Nothing happens but for the men moving their legs and the monkey dancing. At the end of the commercial, there are words on the screen, what do they say?

Answer: Well, we just wasted $2 million. How do you plan to spend your money?

People have wasted money for years, but ironically, this commercial MADE E-Trade money in the sales following this commercial.
9. What is the name of the fake tv show-like commercial for Jack Links Beef Jerky?

Answer: Messin' With Sasquatch

No matter what evil thing they do to Sasquatch, it always ends in their pain. They put shaving cream in his hand while sleeping, they throw stuff at him, they taunt him when he is hitch-hiking... they always get tossed and thrashed.
10. Your only hint for this slogan is... Guinness Beer.

Answer: Brilliant!

Everything they say in the Guinness commercials is exclaimed to be "Brilliant!" These are completely animated commercials, but they do their jobs.
