"Anthropos" is the word for humans in general. The man is "andras" (think "andrology") and the woman is "gyneka" (think "gynecology").
2. "Zoology" is the study of animals. So, what is the word for "animal" in Greek? (watch the pronunciation!)

Answer: Zoo

"Zoo" is read as it is ("zo-o"). Don't mesh with "zoo" in English, translated in Greek as "zo-o-logikos kipos" (remember the synthetic "-logy". "Kipos" is "garden").
