I also read the site that inspired this thread, and was surprised(!) to find ALL the blood types had personality traits I recognised in myself. I don't want to B-... Reply #70. Mar 03 12, 1:08 AM |

Boring old O+, although the 'personality' test had me down as a Type A. It listed famous As as George H. W. Bush, O. J. Simpson, Adolph Hitler, Richard Nixon - what a motley bunch! Reply #71. Mar 04 12, 12:16 PM |

I am O Negative, Code N, which i am told is because i have not being exposed to a certain cold virus, which apparently makes my blood perfect for 'blue babies'. I have also given blood over 100 times and will continue to do so as long as am able. Reply #73. Mar 04 12, 2:04 PM |

'Way to go, George! Think of all the 'blue babies' whose lives you may have saved. I was an active blood donor until I contracted mononucleosis when I was 32, and I was not able to give blood after that. I believe that it is important to give blood, if one can. For those who have a horror of needles, let me assure you that it isn't uncomfortable at all, and you get free doughnuts and orange juice after you've donated. Reply #75. Mar 13 12, 2:00 PM |

I'm an A Positive :) I love to donate blood when I can... Its a great thing to do, very rewarding. I don't mind needles myself. I sometimes wish I had type O blood. When the F5 tornado destroyed Joplin last year (just a few hours or so from where I live) I wanted to see what I could do to help. They had joplin specific blood drives that would help the victims but of course it was only for those with type O blood since they are universal donors and this was an emergency situation. I have donated 4 times so far, of course I'm only just about to turn 18 at which point I would also like to put my name in the bone marrow registry :) Reply #80. Aug 09 12, 1:01 AM |
