Great choice. I love Mary Stewart's books, especially the Merlin ones and 'Wildfire at Midnight' is sitting on the bookshelf behind me right now. Reply #81. Feb 28 14, 1:35 AM |

Thank you very much :) I started reading Mary Stewart books in the late 1960s as my mother enjoyed them. My father and I went to the library and brought back books for ourselves, my mother, my sister and my brother. By the end of the fortnight I would read all of the (if my dad would let me near his!) The Merlin books are good, but I prefer the others. Reply #82. Feb 28 14, 4:33 AM |

I have ordered two books from eBay. There has been a mix up over the first one, but the second one arrived the next day. It has been read and one Q written so far. Reply #83. Mar 09 14, 10:22 AM |

Five questions written for the quiz on "The Hypnotist". The other book failed to arrive, but the eBay seller assures me that they have ordered another copy for me which should arrive today or tomorrow. Reply #84. Mar 11 14, 9:00 AM |

It is good, I read it just after it came out and thoroughly enjoyed it. Must get round to doing a quiz, at the moment I'm reading the books everyone is recommending and not writing the quiz. Reply #90. Mar 12 14, 5:19 PM |

I am reading a new to me book from the list. The Hypnotist has had constant guest plays today - more than sixty so far - but only ten ratings from named players. Very strange :/? Reply #91. Mar 13 14, 5:14 AM |

Look around online and see if there is a Lars Kepler discussion group or something like that. If a member of that group saw your quiz and recommended it to them, that would account for it. This happens to me fairly regularly - I write quizzes on moderately obscure authors, and their fan groups love them. Reply #92. Mar 13 14, 7:58 AM |

Must be a hundred now! I had a look, but found nothing. Looking in the wrong places probably! I wish one of them would join up and let me know. Reply #93. Mar 13 14, 11:27 AM |

You never know if your own quiz is responsible for someone joining the site. I like to think that some are. ;) Reply #94. Mar 13 14, 11:46 AM |

It looks like it was the authors themselves who saw your quiz and posted it - fame! Reply #97. Mar 13 14, 5:33 PM |

I finished reading "The Scar" in the early hours. It is a big read for a single quiz. I am in the thinking process now. Reply #98. Mar 20 14, 5:18 AM |

I have decided to give the poor editors a break from Mary Stewart quizzes and have written the one on "The Scar" - just a slight change there then! I will submit it when I can. Reply #99. Mar 29 14, 10:40 AM |

http://www.funtrivia.com/trivia-quiz/Literature/The-Scar-366962.html Zippo's latest is online and her new recommendation is up-- it's a thriller. :) Speaking of Mary Stewart (from earlier), it looks like she had a new book released this past week. Reply #100. Apr 01 14, 11:41 AM |
