Subject: El Dorado mini-badge: Help Needed

Posted by: Buddy1

There is a new mini-badge called El Dorado which is basically a riddle. For this challenge, we can have a partner; however, no one in my team is working on it--they hardly do riddles. It has been suggested that I post a message here to see if there is anyone working on the mini-badge but does not have a partner.

How about it? Anyone want to help me?

I would say that the Eldorado quest isn't all that casual. Some bits maybe, if you get lucky, but a lot of it requires considerable effort to make sure that what you think is the answer really is - and quite often it's not. My partner is in Australia, I'm in the UK - that worked quite well for us because she'd slog away working on what we thought was an answer to part of the puzzle, she'd write down what she had tried and what hadn't worked, and then she'd go to bed while I slogged away some more. Then we'd find that answer, move on to the next clue, and start over. But I don't know if you can achieve much if you don't do that. You get into a rhythm with your partner, spark each other off with ideas about what the clues mean, and then share the workload involved in proving your theory. I don't know if another way would work... but maybe that's just me.
