Subject: El Dorado mini-badge: Help Needed

Posted by: Buddy1
Date: Nov 02 14

There is a new mini-badge called El Dorado which is basically a riddle. For this challenge, we can have a partner; however, no one in my team is working on it--they hardly do riddles. It has been suggested that I post a message here to see if there is anyone working on the mini-badge but does not have a partner.

How about it? Anyone want to help me?

I kept a record also except my very first one, because at that time I didn't know that we would have to redo the quizzes if it took us too long. I have all of the others though.

So now I am confused...did terry fix it so you don't have to repeat things if you take too long?

I remember how I achieved 21% and that's as far as I am.

I've started setting pieces to music.

This is fun!

Good luck!

Judy,
So far no one has had to take a quiz again. So to answer your question ....

Maybe. Probably. We hope so.

I would be interested but I have no clue where to start. This badge has me baffled.

Okay...some things I have been reading seem to indicate that each line is a separate of the poem is a separate clue. Is that the way others are seeing it. I approached the meaning of a stanza...at 37% so must be doing something right, but was curious how other people approach the poem...line by line or stanza or as a complete poem to solve.

Sometimes two or three lines will lead you to one quiz. It's not necessarily one line = one clue.

Take a close look at the way the poem is written. It will help you work out the clues (not necessarily the answers).

I have been having trouble working out which quiz to play. Do the clues lead you to one particular quiz?

There are quite a few quizzes to play. Most of the time, it's one line = one quiz, but sometimes it's 2 or 3 lines = one quiz.

I found the clues led me to 10-20 quizzes before I found the correct one.

Curious: on the quizzes we complete for this challenge, how many correct is acceptable on each to count toward the challenge.
