Answer: Saul

Saul was a Jew who was well known for persecuting Christians, but when he became a Christian his name was changed to Paul. The name "Paul" actually means "small."
2. What city was Paul traveling to when he heard Jesus speak to him?

Answer: Damascus

On his way to Damascus, Paul suddenly saw a bright light and heard Jesus say to him "Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?" (Acts 9:4, NKJV) He was blind for three days after this, and he stayed with a man called Ananias during this time.
