Alice in Wonderland Trivia Questions

In the events of "Alice in Wonderland", the Hatter's family was attacked by the Jabberwocky. Everyone assumed that they had died until the Hatter found a paper hat he had made as a child. It led him to believe that his family had actually survived, just like his hat had. Alice was tasked with asking Time to save the Hatter's family in the past.

Answer: Bill

Bill's name is first mentioned when the White Rabbit calls out to him, as Bill is passing by the house. He is tall, green and wearing a long green top and a dark green jacket with matching shorts. Bill tries to go down the chimney to get Alice out but ends up creating a lot of smoke, which makes Alice sneeze. Bill flies out the chimney, and we do not see him again.

Alice's tears had created an ocean. As she went through the keyhole in the bottle, she saw Major Dodo headed to shore on a black bird. Alice cried out for help, but Dodo didn't hear her. She than saw the trio of birds on the log. She once again asked for help with no response from the trio. Alice also saw a group of lobsters swimming to shore.

Answer: Salazen Grum

After Hatter throws Alice on his hat, he is captured and taken to the Red Queen. Alice wants to go where he is so that she can rescue him, so she asks where the Red Queen is and Bayard tells her that the castle is at Salazen Grum. She then tells Bayard to take her there.

(I just realized Bayard took her to both castles, how about that!)

Answer: The King of Hearts

Alice was helping to paint the roses red. The Queen's soldiers are all different types of playing cards. When the Queen and King arrive, they see Alice laying on the ground with the other cards. This is when the King tries to figure out what Alice is.

Although Alice doesn't know it, she has been brought by her mother to a large garden party, where a very unattractive young lord is planning to propose to her. The engagement party will follow her acceptance.

Alice goes into the White Rabbit's house to get his gloves. While in his house, she eats a cookie that makes her grow to an enormous size, and the White Rabbit thinks that she is a monster. After Bill the lizard fails to pull Alice out through the chimney, the Dodo Bird decides to burn the house down, against the White Rabbit's wishes. He gathers some material to start the fire, such as a birdhouse, the wooden gate, and straw from the roof. Then, he asks the White Rabbit for a match and ignites the material. However the house never burns down. Alice eats a carrot from the White Rabbit's garden and shrinks down small enough to crawl out under the front door.

The Cheshire Cat sings this when he is appearing in the tree in Wonderland. This is also Alice's first sighting of the Cheshire Cat.

The Cheshire Cat says this to Alice before she attempts to ask the Queen to help her find her way out of Wonderland.

Time wouldn't help Alice save the Hatter's family. He told her that it was impossible to change the past. Alice then stole Time's chronosphere to go back by herself. The White Queen told Alice that only she could go back in time: if any of the Hatter's friends saw their future selves, all of history would be destroyed.

The TARDIS was a time machine from "Doctor Who" and the DeLorean was a time-travelling car in "Back to the Future".

"Golden Afternoon" is also known as "All In The Golden Afternoon". The leader of the flowers (called The Rose) quietes the others down as they argue over which song to sing. She then proceeds to say that they will be singing "Golden Afternoon", as it was a song about all the flowers. "Alice in Wonderland" was the title song played at the start of the film, "The Caucus Race" was sung by the Dodo when Alice was forced into running around the rock to 'get dry', and "How Do You Do and Shake Hands" was sung by Tweedledum and Tweedledee.

Alice was chasing the White Rabbit when she encountered Tweedledee and Tweedledum. The pair offered to play several games to try to keep Alice's attention. They first offered up the game of Hide and Seek, but Alice showed no interest. It was not until they offered to tell the tale of the oysters that they caught her attention.

The White Rabbit mentions that for his unbirthday present, he received the pocket watch. However, he mentions that it has stopped working. The Mad Hatter and March Hare therefore try to fix it. In their efforts, they actually end up smashing it to pieces instead.

The dormouse is quite sure that Alice is not the right 'Alice' for the task ahead. Alice is taken to Absolom, the Caterpillar, who consults a scroll, while she maintains that she is sure she is not the one that they want. An attack by the Red Knave stops all conversation and the animals flee.

ALICE: Oh, but that's nonsense. Flowers can't talk.
ROSE: But of course we can talk, my dear.
ORCHID: Yes, if there's anyone around worth talking to.

Answer: The King

The King asks this of the Queen after she loses her temper and tells the guards to take off Alice's head. A fun fact: After the King is announced by the White Rabbit, the one little voice that says "Hooray" is the voice of Mickey Mouse.

"Jabberwocky" was written by Lewis Carroll, and was written backwards in a book Alice finds in "Through The Looking Glass". The poem is about a boy who defeats a monster called the Jabberwock. Two other monsters mentioned in the poem, the Jubjub Bird and Bandersnatch, are seen again in the narrative poem "The Hunting of the Snark", also written by Carroll.
