Answer: Achilles

The most climactic fight in the entire movie was the one between Hector and Achilles. Achilles wanted revenge for his cousin's death. Before they started to fight, Hector asked Achilles to make a pact that whoever lost got the proper burial they deserved. But Achilles didn't listen.

Answer: He does not fear anyone

Odysseus gives this answer to Achilles when Achilles asks him if Agamemnon is supposed to be feared. Odysseus tries to convince Achilles to fight with the Greeks again. Achilles is not convinced, though and prepares to leave, instead.

Answer: Aeneas

"As long as this is sword is in the hands of a Trojan, our people have a future." was what King Priam told Paris as he gave him the sword of Troy, the night before he was to battle Menelaus for Helen. Paris carried the sword with him, and after the men in the wooden horse began to sack the city, Paris and the others headed for the tunnel out of the city. Paris went back in to the city to find Briseis, but before he re-entered the city he gave to sword to Aeneas.

Answer: Andromache

Andromache was Hector's wife and couldn't bear to watch him die. Helen consoled and calmed Andromache during the fight. Briseis was a prisoner of Achilles and did not watch the fight. Ineulsus was not a real character.

Achilles said this to his soldiers just before his boat landed on the beach of Troy, when he was telling his men that they could defeat anyone who fought back. He then carries on his short speech - "Do you know what's there, waiting, beyond that beach? Immortality! Take it, it's yours!". That is my favourite quote in the movie.

When Achilles is fighting Hector, Hector trips over a stone and falls, defenseless. Then Achilles tells him to get up, followed by the quote I have given, and allows Hector to take up a weapon.

After the death of his son, Priam went to visit Achilles. He kissed Achilles' hands, and asked for Hector's body. Achilles was stunned to see Priam there. Achilles said to Priam, "You're still my enemy in the morning." and Priam responded with the above words. Achilles then promised that the Greeks would not attack the Trojans for the grieving period. Briseis was walking back to the camp; she saw Priam and went back with him.

Answer: Odysseus

Odysseus tells this to Achilles when Achilles asks him why he serves Agamemnon. Odysseus, too, is a king of Ithaca and he knows his country cannot afford an enemy like Agamemnon.

The sword of Troy had been passed on for many generations. When Priam gave the sword to Paris before Paris was to battle Menelaus, he told Paris that as long as the sword of Troy was in the hands of a Trojan, the people of Troy had a future. Paris made sure that it remained in the hands of a Trojan by giving it to Aeneas before Aeneas left the city.

Answer: She returned to Sparta with Menelaus.

In the 'Iliad' Helen plays a very small role, she identifies the main Achaean heroes from the wall and describes them for Priam (and the listener). Her other activities are restricted to the bedroom. She is very much seen as an object to be owned and not a person. In the 'Odyssey' she is described as trying to trick the Achaeans out of their horse by mimicking the voices of their wives. This ploy is unsuccessful and she is claimed by Menelaus following the sack of Troy and returns home to Sparta with him.

Agamemnon is Menelaus' brother. Menelaus is the husband of Helen, who was taken away by Paris. Menelaus wanted revenge on the Trojans and asked Agamemnon for help in defeating the mighty Trojans. Brian Cox has also starred in 'Braveheart' and 'X-Men 2'.

Prince Hector's wife Andromache is played by Saffron Burrows. Andromache manages to escape with her and Hector's son after Troy is invaded by the Spartans.

When Troy is burning down, Paris needs to fetch Briseis, and he finds her with Achilles. He shoots an arrow through Achilles' heel, and then shoots him three times in the chest, although Briseis pleads with him not to. This is rather ironic, since we have the impression that Paris is rather weak (he had never killed a man before) whereas Achilles seems invincible.

Achilles says this to Hector before they begin fighting each other shortly after Hector kills Achilles' cousin, Patroclus. Hector knows he cannot win against Achilles and therefore, tries to make a pact about their being buried with honor, but Achilles refuses. Achilles defeats Hector and drags his body behind his chariot. King Priam comes to his tent later, though, to beg for his son's body that he may be given an honorable burial.

Oddyseus narrated the last scene and mentioned how it should be said that he lived in the time of Hector, tamer of horses. He also said for it to be let known that he lived in the time of Achilles.

When Troy is burned, Hector's wife shows the underground tunnel to get to the river, and Paris goes with her. Meanwhile, Odysseus takes over Troy, because Briseis had killed Agamemnon.
