Schmidt and Cece (played by Hannah Simone) first hook up in "Valentine's Day" - that's if you don't count hand-holding as "hooking up". They try to keep it a secret even though Schmidt is particularly proud of this conquest and ultimately their tryst is out in the open during the episode "Secrets". But at that time, it becomes a full-fledged relationship.

When she came to get Furguson from the loft, Daisy admitted to Winston that she had slept with the guy in her shower after agreeing to be his girlfriend. Winston said he deserved better than that, as did Furguson. He kept the cat. Schmidt had been opposed to even having the cat in the loft, as he said all cats were obsessed with his nipples. I got the spelling of the cat's name directly from the episode synopsis, and once more have to say I know of no character named Kyle.
