"Cartman's Mom is Still a Dirty Slut" was actually the second part of a two-part episode of "South Park". The first part was called "Cartman's Mom is a Dirty Slut" and aired eight weeks earlier. It had been stated that the second part of the episode would be aired in four weeks, and five weeks later (April 1, 1998), the creators of the show played an April Fools joke on everyone by having a completely different episode air. Fans ended up waiting an additional three weeks for the conclusion. The creators received angry phone calls and nasty letters in return.
