2. How are Tippi Hedren and Melanie Griffith related?

Answer: Mother-daughter

Tippi Hedren was born Nathalie Kay Hedren in 1930. She started her career as a model before moving into acting on television commercials. It was there that she was spotted by Alfred Hitchcock. He hired her for two of his movies. The first was "The Birds" (1963). Hedren won the Golden Globe Award for New Star of the Year for her appearance in that film. She also appeared in Hitchcock's "Marnie" (1964). She went on to appear in over eighty films and television shows before she retired. Hedren is also known for her philanthropic work on behalf of animal rescue and wildlife preservation.

Hedren was married to Peter Griffith from 1951-1960. Their only child, Melanie Griffith, was born on August 9, 1957. She went to high school in California, so after graduating she found a job in Hollywood right away. Griffith appeared in her first credited role in "Night Moves" (1975) at the age of seventeen. Since then, she has appeared in over forty-five films and over thirty television shows.
3. Tony Curtis is the father of the actress who played Laurie Strode in "Halloween" (1978).

Answer: True

Actors Tony Curtis and Janet Leigh were married in 1951 and divorced in 1962. They had two children, their oldest daughter Kelly Curtis (b. 1956), and younger daughter Jamie Lee Curtis (b. 1958). Both daughters ended up with careers in Hollywood. Kelly appeared on a number of television programs and a few movies, and worked on the production crews of a number of tv shows.

Jamie Lee Curtis started her Hollywood career by guest starring on a number of television programs such as "Love Boat", "Charlie's Angels", "Columbo", and "Quincy, M.E.". Her first film role was as Laurie Strode in the 1978 horror film "Halloween". According to "Cinefantastique Magazine", the producer of the film specifically sought out Jamie Lee Curtis for the role because her mother, Janet Leigh, had won an Oscar for her role in the famous horror movie "Psycho".

Jamie Lee Curtis went on to play Laurie Strode in seven sequels in the Halloween" franchise. She also appeared in a number of horror films through to 1983. This led to her becoming somewhat typecast as a "scream queen". Then, in 1983, she started taking roles in non-horror movies such as "Trading Places" (1983), "A Fish Called Wanda" (1988), "Forever Young" (1982), and many other romantic and comedy films. This helped her to shed her standing as a scream queen and develop a reputation as a serious actress. Besides acting, Curtis has written a number of children's books, a graphic novel, and is a blogger and podcaster. She is also an inventor, having been awarded two patents related to disposable diapers.

Curtis has received various awards for her work, including an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress (2023), a BAFTA Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role (1984), a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series (2034), two Golden Globe Awards (1990, 1995), and two Screen Actors Guild Awards (1995, 2023).
