Answer: Eddie Guerrero

Eddie Guerrero was the youngest and the most successful son of the late Mexican legend Gory Guerrero. Prior to his joining the WWF, Eddie won numerous titles in both ECW and WCW. During his tenure in the WWF he had a brief romance with Chyna and formed a successful tag team with nephew Chavo known as "Los Guerreros" in 2002.

In February 2004 Eddie achieved his greatest success when he defeated Brock Lesnar for the WWE Heavyweight Title at "No Way Out". Just twenty one months later Eddie was gone, the victim of cardiac arrest caused by years of substance abuse.

2. This wrestler became the third man of a famous WWF duo in the spring of 1990, eventually taking one of the original members places. From 1992 thru 1997 he portrayed a number of different personas including a Hawaiian surfer and an Ex Convict before jumping to WCW in late 1997. He died in August 2007 of drugs at age 43, who was he?

Bryan Adams aka Crush was one of the last breakout stars for legendary Portland promoter Don Owen and his PNW. In 1990 he joined Ax and Smash, Demolition, as a third member Crush. He eventually took Ax's place on the team in the summer of 1990 and was a co holder of the WWF Tag Team Title.

After almost five years in the WWF as both a face and a heel, Crush joined WCW in 1997. Using his own name he was a member of "The NWO" and later teamed with Brian Clarke aka Adam Bomb in 2000 as the hard hitting duo "The Kronik". Adams died in August 2007 from drugs at age 43 in Tampa, Florida.

3. This talented wrestler was way ahead of his time, he would tease and please female fans with his "sexy body" before his matches. From 1987 thru 1990 he competed in The WWF where he was a member of "The Heenan Family" and held The Intercontinental Title. He also had a 13 month run as WCW U.S. Champion before his untimely death in April 1999 at age 40 of drugs, who was he?

Answer: Rick Rude

"Ravishing" Rick Rude had already had some success in both WCCW and the NWA but after arriving in the WWF in the spring of 1987 he became a bonafide superstar. Rude's arrogant self absorbed nature and constant womanizing rubbed many wrestlers and fans the wrong way.

A former Intercontinental Champion Rude had classic matches with Jake Roberts, Roddy Piper and The Ultimate Warrior. In November 1991 he won the WCW U.S. Title and had some epic bouts with both Sting and Rick Steamboat. A back injury forced Rude to retire in 1994 but he was contemplating a comeback when he died in April 1999.

4. This bull of a wrestler formed a successful tag team with the late Rip Hawk in The NWA during the 1960s and 1970s. In the late 1970s he arrived in The WWF where he challenged Bob Backlund for The WWF Heavyweight Title. He died in 2002 at age 68 from heart failure and diabetes, who was he?

Answer: Swede Hanson

Swede Hanson was already a tag team legend when he came to the WWF in 1978 where he was managed by the infamous Freddie Blassie. Complete with a Confederate cap and Flag, Hanson portrayed the persona of a sultry southerner and challenged Bob Backlund unsuccessfully on many occasions.

In late 1982 an altercation with "Superstar" Billy Graham caused him to make a face turn. Although he began to hear some cheers the big Swede was just a jobber until his 1985 retirement.

5. Despite his lack of physical conditioning this man was just about as sound a wrestler as they came. Tough as nails he won both the AWA and the WWF Tag Team Titles before coming in touch with his "effeminate side" in 1985. He died at age 34 in an Auto Accident while in Canada in July 1988. Who was he?

Answer: Adrian Adonis

Despite his flabby appearance, Adrian Adonis could do it all inside the squared circle and did. Adrian won the AWA Tag Team Titles with Jesse Ventura in 1981 and later the WWF Tag Team Titles in 1984 with the late Dick Murdock. Adonis became "Adorable" in late 1985 and was one of the WWF's top heels in 1986 and early 1987.

After a brief return to The AWA Adonis shed over a hundred pounds and was rumored to have inked a deal to return to the WWF in the fall of 1988 when tragedy struck.

6. The enormous popularity of "Chief" Jay Strongbow many times causes the accomplishments of this wrestler to be overlooked. From the late 1960s right thru the mid 1980s he was a perennial contender for The NWA Heavyweight Title. A huge fan favorite he died in April 2002 of renal failure at age 63. Who was this wrestler?

A former Professional Football player,"Chief" Wahoo McDaniel was one of the toughest and roughest wrestlers of the 1960s and 1970s. Wahoo made a name for himself in both The AWA and The NWA engaging in bloody feuds against Billy Graham, Ivan Koloff, Harley Race, Ric Flair and Srg. Slaughter. Wahoo won numerous titles but like his WWF rival, Jay Strongbow, never became a World Heavyweight Champion.

7. In 1998, this man was brought in as some muscle for Vince McMahon's Corporation and the following year he had a romance with his daughter Stephanie. He held both singles and tag team gold during two stints in The WWF. He died in 2009 of drugs at the tender age of 33, who was he?

Rumored to have been a bodyguard for famed glam rock band "Motley Crue" Andrew Martin aka Test arrived in the WWF in late 1998. After a fling with Stephanie McMahon he formed successful tag teams with Prince Albert, Christian and Booker T. His last run in the WWE came in 2007 in its ECW faction where he unsuccessfully challenged Bobby Lashley for The ECW Title.

He had a brief stint in TNA in 2008 and died the following year just four days short of his 34th birthday.

8. One of the most vicious heels of his era he literally was forced to wrestle wearing a mask in the 1950s and 1960s. In 1974 he began a legendary run as one of the WWF's premiere heel managers and referred to the fans as "Pencil Necked Geeks." He died of Congestive Heart Failure in 2003 at the ripe old age of 85. Who was he?

Answer: Fred Blassie

Fred Blassie's penchant for biting wrestlers to taste their blood caused him to be nicknamed "The Vampire" and wear a special mask in the ring. After his retirement Blassie became a hugely successful heel manager and guided The Iron Sheik to the WWF Heavyweight Title in December 1983 over Bob Backlund.

While Blassie was very sarcastic and demeaning on camera to fans, he was actually a very generous and kind man who dressed as "Santa" every year and handed out gifts to kids at the WWF Headquarters. Blassie died in May 2003, just three weeks after making his final appearance on "Raw".

9. This man was "hardcore" long before hardcore wrestling was even popular in the wrestling world. His legendary bloodbaths with Abdullah The Butcher were so violent, some of them couldn't be shown on television. This man was stabbed while on tour in Puerto Rico in July 1988 and died later of that injury at age 42. Who was this groundbreaking star?

Frank Goodish aka Bruiser Brody was a legendary brawler with a touch of insanity who was not afraid of nothing or nobody. Brody competed in just about every major United States promotion but never won a major title, probably because of his unpredictable nature. In July 1988 while competing for Carlos Colon's WWC he was stabbed by fellow wrestler Jose Gonzales and died the following day.

10. This wrestler was the youngest son in the legendary Von Erich Family of Texas. It was said he would be the one that would carry the name into the millennium and beyond. Unfortunately an illness prevented him from a serious wrestling career and he committed suicide in September 1991 at age 21, who was he?

Answer: Chris Von Erich

The sixth and youngest son of Fritz and Doris Von Erich, Chris was forced to take steroids at a young age to combat his chronic asthma. The long term effects stunted his growth and caused his bones to become very brittle. It soon became apparent that Chris was not meant for a wrestling career like his older brothers which left him depressed.

In September 1991 he shot himself not far from the family ranch at the tender age of 21, the fourth son to die in that family.

11. From 1985 to 1988 this man was one half of one of the most popular and talented tag teams ever in the WWF. In 1992 in his native country he defeated Bret Hart to win the WWF Intercontinental Title in a fantastic match. A back injury led to a dependence on painkillers and he died in May 2002 at age 39. Who was this wrestler?

Davey Boy Smith along with his cousin Tom Billington aka The Dynamite Kid comprised the popular team known as The British Bulldogs. The duo won the WWF Tag Team Titles in 1986 and had some superb bouts with The Hart Foundation, The Dream Team and The Islanders. On his own Smith won the WWF Intercontinental Title in 1992 and was the very first WWF European Champion in 1997.

In September 1998 while working in WCW a freak accident caused a serious back injury which led to substance abuse. Although he did return to the WWF in the fall of 1999 he died in May 2002 at the age of 39.

12. Known as "The Big Cat" this towering man was a successful Professional Football Player where he was a four time All Star. In the mid 1960s he began wrestling and soon was one of the most feared heels of his era. He died in March 2007 at 68 after a very lengthy battle with colon cancer. Who was he?

Answer: Ernie Ladd

Managed by the late Grand Wizard Ernie Ladd was one of the most feared heels of the 1970s. The massive Ladd challenged both Bruno Sammartino and later Bob Backlund for the WWF Heavyweight Title but was unsuccessful each time. In the early 1980s Ladd became the head booker for Bill Watts in his Mid South territory, one of the first men of color to hold that prestigious position in a company. Ladd died in March 2007 after a four year battle with colon cancer at age 68.

13. This tower of a man's first success came in 1976 when he and another WWE Hall of Famer wrestled under masks and won The WWF Tag Team Titles. In the early and mid 1980s he was one of the WWF's top heels and had a famous rivalry with Andre the Giant. He died in March 1995 at age 47 of Hodgkin's Disease. Who was he?

Answer: Big John Studd

Big John Studd teamed with his mentor and coach, the legendary Killer Kowalski as the masked duo known as "The Executioners". The duo held the WWF Tag Team Titles for several months in 1976, eventually adding a third man Nikolai Volkoff to their roster.

In 1983 Studd began a long feud against Andre the Giant over who was the real "Giant" of the wrestling world. During this era Studd became a member of the infamous "Heenan Family" and also feuded with WWF Champion Hulk Hogan. Studd's last run in the WWF came in 1989 where he became a face and renewed his feud against the now hated Andre.

14. Despite his lack of ability, this man was in the words of the immortal Gorilla Monsoon "an awesome physical specimen". A WWF mainstay of the mid 1980s and early 1990s he was hated, then cheered, then part of a tag team and always carried a chain. He died of a heart attack in March 2004 at the age of 48, who was he?

Ray Fernandez aka Hercules Hernandez enjoyed some early success in the NWA where he was one of Paul Jones masked "Assassins". He also had some success in Florida and Mid South before coming to the WWF in the fall of 1985. For the next six and a half years the muscular Hernandez did almost everything from being a member of "The Heenan Family" to being a fan favorite to forming a talented tag team with Paul Roma in 1990.

The only thing Hercules failed to accomplish was to win a WWF title either on his own or as a team.

After a brief stint in WCW as "The Super Invader" he wrestled for independent promotions before his death in March 2004. Interesting fact, Hernandez died on the same day as John Henry Williams, the son of the late baseball legend Ted Williams.

15. A childhood illness made this man an underdog but also a fierce and determined competitor who strove to give the very best in all he did. After a long and successful run in WCW he arrived in the WWF in June 1996. His outrageous persona was just getting going when he died on October 5, 1997 at age 35 of a heart attack. Who was this wrestler?

Answer: Brian Pillman

Brian Pillman developed a serious throat condition as an infant which led to multiple surgeries before he reached the age of five and left him with a raspy voice. This caused Pillman to become very determined in whatever he did and he even played one season in The NFL for The Cincinnati Bengals in the 1980s. Pillman's early success took place in Stu Hart's Stampede promotion before he jumped to WCW in June 1989. During his seven years in Atlanta, Pillman was a "Hollywood Blonde" with Steve Austin, a member of "The Four Horsemen" and a multi-time champion.

In 1996 after a brief stint in ECW he moved to the WWF where he created the over the top persona of "The Loose Cannon". This would be his last stop in a career cut short.
