Answer: Superman

Superman does not need any introduction, and his civilian name (Clark Kent), his identity as a reporter, his love for Lois Lane, his arch enemy (Lex Luthor) etc. is too widely known. However, did you know why Lex started hating Superman? In "Adventure Comics" issue #271, it was stated that Superman and Lex were friends as teenagers and together built a laboratory. An erroneous experiment caused a fire in the lab which was extinguished easily by Superman's super breath.

However, the resultant mixture of chemicals caused permanent hair loss for Lex.

He got mad, accused Superman of jealousy and blamed him for the failure of the experiment, vowing that he would get even. Guess the motives were really strange in the Silver Age of comics.

He was born with those wings, and is a member of the X-Men. He's also pretty rich. Hey, I forgot his superhero name; do you know it?" What is the name that this guy forgot?

Answer: Angel

Angel was one of the founding members of the X-Men. He was born in Centerport, New York and is the heir and the chief of the Worthington industries. He was initially not depicted as someone who could follow orders, but he matured and became much more thoughtful and introspective in the latter half of the 1980s. His abilities primarily include flight, enhanced strength, sight and a regenerative healing factor. He appeared in the 2006 film "X-Men: The Last Stand".
Angel is not to be confused with Angel Salvadore (Tempest) who appears in the series "New X-Men".

3. A: "Now who's that bird like superhero there, flying with a mace?" B: (Grins as he realizes that his friend no longer thought it was a bird) "She's a superheroine, to be precise. Funny that you called her bird-like; besides having wings, her superheroine name also corresponds to a bird of prey." So, what's her name?

Answer: Hawkgirl

The name "Hawkgirl" has been used by several female characters appearing in the DC Comics, but the most famous among them is Shiera Sanders Hall, a reincarnation of the Egyptian princess Chay-Ara. Centuries ago, she and his lover Khufu (reborn as Thomas Hall/Hawkman) ruled over ancient Egypt, when they were killed by Hath-Set with a knife forged formed the Nth metal.

The strange properties of the metal, empowered by the duo's love created a bond between them which, allowing them to be reborn multiple times. Hawkgirl has the ability to fly, enhanced hearing, superhuman strength and an enhanced healing factor.

Her weapon of choice is a mace, and in other versions, a spear.

He's the mighty prince of Asgard, god of thunder and lightning, and has a special attachment to his hammer. Now, can you recognize him?" Even if he can't, we can. Who was the superhero?

Answer: Thor

Thor, son of Odin and Gaea, is the strongest of all Asgardians. He was sent to Earth by his father Odin in order to learn humility, without his memories. He was placed into the body of a human named Donald Blake, who on his trip to Norway witnessed a fleet of aliens.

He entered a cave to escape them and found his weapon of choice, Mjolnir. On using it, he transformed into the mighty god he always was. Thor has numerous powers and abilities, which vary from one incarnation to other. Some of the constant one's are his control over the elements of storm (thunder, rain, snow and lightning), ability to fly at super speeds, intense strength and near invulnerable skin.

He has an enchanted "Belt of Strength" which doubles his stamina and strength.

His arch enemy is his half-brother, Loki.

5. A: "Look. That guy's green. He must be Hulk." (Triumphantly nods head). B: (Facepalms at this announcement) "Have you ever heard that the Hulk can fly? He's a member of an intergalactic force of peacekeepers and has some pretty awesome powers; he can construct solid materials from energy, based on his imagination, fly at high speeds; however, he shirks on seeing yellow colour. Answer: Green Lantern

That superhero was most definitely the Green Lantern, although it's difficult to say who. Over time, too many individuals have appeared as the Green Lantern; the most famous being Alan Scott (Golden Age of comics), Hal Jordan (Silver Age of comics) and John Stewart (Bronze Age of comics).

The superhero film, "Green Lantern", released in 2011 features Hal Jordan as the Green Lantern. Each Green Lantern possesses a power ring that can generate a variety of effects, most notably being able to create solid constructs of energy.

The rings can create force fields, block telepathy, allow flight faster than light, render the wearer invisible and phase through solid matter. It's efficiency is increased if it is close to a blue power ring.

6. A: (Looks at the weather report and repeats what it says) "Storm's coming..." B: (Interrupts him with a gleeful shout) "Yes, yes, yes. So you finally recognized the superheroine that just flew past us? You're right, she's Storm." While he enjoys this false notion, can you remember the real name of Storm?

Answer: Ororo Munroe

Ororo Munroe first appeared in "Giant Size X-Men" #1. She was the first black female to have played a significant in the Marvel Comics. Her name, Ororo, translates to English as "Beauty". Her parents were killed during the Suez Crisis in Egypt. She was buried under rubble due to that incident, which is the main reason of her claustrophobic tendencies.

She later became a skilled thief in Cairo, and is often seen picking locks with ease. Later she moved on to Africa and was worshiped as a goddess there due to her ability to manipulate the weather (rain, lightning, thunder, snow), a power she inherited from her mother.

There, she was found and recruited into the X-Men by Professor X.

7. A: "Cool. What do you have to say now? That figure is most definitely a bird; it has quite long wings, and is not certainly Warren Worthington III." B: (Realizes that he is back to square one) "Uh... He is Samuel Wilson, born in Harlem, New York, and a close friend of the first Avenger, Captain America. He has a close mental bond with his bird Redwing, which, coupled with technology, gives him his powers. Curious thing; he too has a bird-related name." Who could this superhero be?

Answer: Falcon

Falcon is Marvel's first African-American superhero (Black Panther is African). He was placed 96th in IGN's list of top 100 greatest superheroes of all time.
Falcon was stranded on the Exile Island due to a plane crash. There, he was found by Red Skull who fused his mind with the bird Redwing with the help of the Cosmic Cube, forming a telepathic bond between them. However, he also met Captain America on that island. He gained his flying equipments from Black Panther.
Later, Red Skull returned to the scene and tried to use the Cosmic Cube to make him kill Captain America. However, that attempt failed miserably and the Falcon went on to become a superb agent for S.H.I.E.L.D.

8. A: "That guy has a bucket on his head. Is he some kind of superhero sweeper?" B: (Wants to tear his hair out, but manages to keep his calm) "No, that's just a helmet. If I am correct, he is Richard Rider, member of the Nova Corps, and a friend of Spider-Man. He is no pushover; he defeated the mighty Skrulls with the Champions of Xander and can exert influence over gravitational forces; oh, he can also project energy or absorb it." Now, what could be Richard Rider's superhero identity?

Answer: Nova

The alien Rhomann Dey arrived on Earth after the destruction of his home planet Xandar by the intergalactic pirate Zorr. He managed to sense and follow him to Earth, but was unable to deal with him with his injuries. Before dying, he passed on his powers to a random human being with the hope that he will take up his cause; that human being Richard Rider, a high school student.

Although initially he fought petty criminals, he quickly stepped up to defeat strong foes and later helped save the reconstructed planet Xandar. In 2011, Marvel Comics introduced Sam Alexander as the new Nova.

He also appeared in the television show "Ultimate Spider-Man". In the show, Spider-Man calls him "Bucket-Head" to annoy him.

He was banished on the Earth as a punishment, but we gained a powerful ally against the evil beings as a result, isn't it?" What is the real name of this noble superhero?

Answer: Norrin Radd

Silver Surfer (Norrin Radd) debuted in "Fantastic Four" #48. He was given a surfboard as Jack Kirby stated that he was tired of drawing spaceships. He can survive in almost any known environment, including deep space. He doesn't need to feed or drink.

He can project energy for various purposes, which is strong enough to take down celestial bodies, and phase through solid matter. His surfboard is silvery like his skin and has been shown to be capable of withstanding severe punishments. He has faced foes like Dr Doom and Mephisto and has managed to hold his own.

He appeared in the film "Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer".

10. A: "That guy must be an alien too. He looks quite odd and green skinned." B: (Gives up and thinks that at least his friend got that right) "True, mate. He is J'onn J'onnz from the red planet and was pulled to Earth by a teleportation beam. On hearing where he was from, the inventor of that technology died from shock and left no way for him to escape Earth. What a bad luck!" Hmm... Who are they talking about?

Answer: Martian Manhunter

The Martian Manhunter decided to stay on Earth and fight crime as he had no other purpose in life. He took on the identity of John Jones (see how the names resemble each other?), a detective for that purpose. He finally joined the Justice League, and was an elite member of that team.
His powers are quite varied and inconsistent. However, it has been shown that he can read minds, fly and has a super-hearing like Superman. He is also weak to fire when he is in his native Martian form.
