Black Cat first appeared in "The Amazing Spider-Man" #194 (July 1979). She had an off and on relationship with Peter Parker/Spiderman for several years. Black Cat eventually lost her powers, but uses a number of technological devices to enhance her abilities.

Selina Kyle may have been a love interest for Batman, but never had any super-powers. Sharon Smith was a member of the Hellions who could turn into a cat. Tigra started her career as a hero.
