While it was getting punched around, Charmander's flame on its tail became bigger as it learned Rage and defeated the wild fighting type, causing Ash to catch the crazy fighting Pokémon.

Ash had a hard time getting into the Celadon Gym, but Team Rocket made him dress as a girl as they successfully got inside. Erika used Tangela, Weepinbell and Gloom to battle Ash, but Team Rocket stole one of the gym's scents causing the Celadon Gym to go up in flames.
