What's wrong with that statement?

Question 4 of 10
4. It looks like our friend Frank doesn't know his sports either.

"The New York Yankees won the Treble in 1999. They won the FA Cup, UEFA Champions League and Premier League".

Well that would have been hard! The New York Yankees play baseball, but which English football/soccer team did win all three championships that year?
Hint

Question 5 of 10
5. In a Literature question, Frank wrote this:

"Mark Twain is well known for writing 'The Adventures of Tom Sawyer' and 'The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn'."

Wait a minute, is that right?

Question 6 of 10
6. Frank's knowledge on amusement parks isn't the best either:

"Every year tourists flock to New York City to visit Disney World, one of the busiest attractions in the world".

Disney World is very popular, but it isn't in New York. What Florida city is it close to?
Hint

Question 7 of 10
7. The next question is on board games, and again there is a mistake.

"The places in the US version of the board game Clue are named after places in Atlantic City, New Jersey."

No, which board game is it actually?
Hint

Question 8 of 10
8. Did you know Cinderella had Seven Dwarfs? That's what Frank's written in his quiz! Read this:

"Cinderella had Seven Dwarfs: Bashful, Doc, Dopey, Grumpy, Happy, Sleepy and Sneezy".

Actually, I don't think it's Cinderella. Who had those seven dwarfs?
Hint

Question 9 of 10
9. We're almost done looking through his errors. This next question seems to be about the TV show "SpongeBob SquarePants" Let's look:

No, Frank. It isn't Ryan. Who is SpongeBob's best friend?
Hint

Question 10 of 10
10. Frank didn't put any effort in his last question! Read it:

Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Frank's first question looked like this: "World War II started on September 1, 1939 when Nazi Germany, led by Adolf Hitler, invaded Czechoslovakia. How many people died on that day?" What nation did the Germans actually invade on that day to begin the war?

Answer: Poland

By the time they entered Poland in 1939, the Germans had already annexed all of Czechoslovakia. The border city of Danzig was captured the next day, and Germany had taken all of Western Poland by October 8. The eastern half of Poland was invaded by the Soviet Union. This was considered the start of World War II as the United Kingdom declared war on Germany on September 3.
2. Question 2 is also factually wrong. In it Frank says: "The Australian flag has a maple leaf on it." No, it doesn't. Which country does have a maple leaf on its flag?

Answer: Canada

The Canadian flag contains a red maple leaf on a white background, with two red columns on the sides. Australia's contains the flag of Great Britain (The Union Jack), as well as the seven pointed Commonwealth Star, and the Southern Cross constellation.
3. Frank's next question mentions this: "In the 1960s and early 1970s, the American band The Beatles were famous with their hit songs 'Hey Jude', 'Let It Be', and 'Eleanor Rigby'." What's wrong with that statement?

Answer: The Beatles were British

The Beatles were formed in Liverpool, England in 1960. Not only did the group sing rock and pop songs during the 60s, the band performed in movies based on their songs including "A Hard Day's Night" and "Let It Be". By 2012, the Beatles had sold 177 million records in the United States alone.

They have 7 Grammy Awards and 1 Oscar to their credit. All pursued solo careers after their breakup in 1970.

Answer: Manchester United

Manchester United sure had a good year when they took all three titles, the first English team to complete the sweep. The team lost only 5 times in this season, but were just able to get a 1 point victory over Chelsea in the Premier League. On May 22, United beat Newcastle in the FA Cup final, and four days later Manchester beat Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League (then called the European Cup) to take home the third and final championship.

In the League Cup, Manchester lost in the fifth round to Tottenham, who would go on to win that tournament.
5. In a Literature question, Frank wrote this: "Mark Twain is well known for writing 'The Adventures of Tom Sawyer' and 'The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn'." Wait a minute, is that right?

Answer: Yes

Yes, Samuel Langhorne Clemens (or Mark Twain) wrote about Tom Sawyer in his 1876 book and about Huck Finn in 1885, a book that is called "The Great American Novel". Considered "the greatest humourist of his age", Twain worked as a newspaper printer, riverboat pilot and a writer during his lifetime. Oddly enough, he was born while Halley's Comet was near the Earth, and predicted he would "go out with it" during his life.

He died the day after it returned again in 1910.
6. Frank's knowledge on amusement parks isn't the best either: "Every year tourists flock to New York City to visit Disney World, one of the busiest attractions in the world". Disney World is very popular, but it isn't in New York. What Florida city is it close to?

Answer: Orlando

The world's most-visited entertainment resort, Disney World opened in 1971 as just the Magic Kingdom. The "Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow" (EPCOT) opened in 1982, as well as the Hollywood Studios in 1989, and the Animal Kingdom in 1998 to fill out the four amusement parks over 47 square miles. Over 17 million tourists visit the Magic Kingdom each year on average, making it the most visited amusement park in the world. All four parks made the top 8 on that list.

The park is in the town of Lake Buena Vista, about 20 miles southeast of downtown Orlando.
7. The next question is on board games, and again there is a mistake. "The places in the US version of the board game Clue are named after places in Atlantic City, New Jersey." No, which board game is it actually?

Answer: Monopoly

Monopoly was designed by the Parker Brothers in the 1930s based on the cities in Atlantic City. Some streets don't exist anymore in Atlantic City as Illinois Avenue became Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd and St. Charles Place was taken out to build a casino. The UK Monopoly is based on places in the London area.
8. Did you know Cinderella had Seven Dwarfs? That's what Frank's written in his quiz! Read this: "Cinderella had Seven Dwarfs: Bashful, Doc, Dopey, Grumpy, Happy, Sleepy and Sneezy". Actually, I don't think it's Cinderella. Who had those seven dwarfs?

Answer: Snow White

"Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" was a fairy tale written by the German Brothers Grimm. The tale was made into a 1937 animated Disney movie. The movie was named the greatest animated film of all-time in a 1998 American Film Institute poll. The dwarfs (or dwarves) are well-known for the "Heigh-Ho" song.
9. We're almost done looking through his errors. This next question seems to be about the TV show "SpongeBob SquarePants" Let's look: "Ryan is SpongeBob's best friend. Ryan is a pink starfish." No, Frank. It isn't Ryan. Who is SpongeBob's best friend?

Answer: Patrick

Patrick Star is SpongeBob's best friend on the children's TV show. They like to blow bubbles and catch jellyfish together. They live near each other, with Squidward, who does not like SpongeBob or Patrick, but they like being with him. Patrick lacks common sense, which gives him a major role in many episodes.
10. Frank didn't put any effort in his last question! Read it: "In what part of Africa is the country South Africa?" All right, that is too easy. Let's put in something a little harder. In what continent are North and South Korea?

Answer: Asia

North and South Korea share the Korean peninsula in East Asia. North Korea occupies the top end, bordering China to the north. Off the southeast coast of South Korea is Japan. The 38th parallel stands as the border between the North and South Korea. The two sides battled in the Korean war as both sides had different political beliefs.
