Cassidy was the first guardian of water and the second holder of the Heart of Kandrakar. The heart was taken from Nerissa because she was abusing her power and given to Cassidy. This caused Nerissa to kill Cassidy in order to get the power back. She came back to life and was used by Nerissa to get revenge.

Christopher is Irma's little brother. In the comics, he is her half-brother because she has a step-mother. In the show, he is her full brother and the step-mother character has been changed to be her real mother.

Hay-Lin was supposed to paint what she thought was paradise. Irma kept saying paint a lot of bunnies and she would win. Hay-Lin painted the guardians instead and another contestant painted bunnies like Irma said and won.
