Answer: Vatican City

Vaticano, or Vatican City, is an enclave of Rome, Italy and is noted as being the smallest independent country on the planet, measuring just 0.17 square miles (0.44 square kilometres) in size. That makes Russia almost 40 million times as big!

3. Which of these two pairs of unlikely duos were alive at the same time?

Answer: Charlie Chaplin/50 Cent

Yes, believe it or not, Charlie Chaplin passed away on Christmas Day 1977, and 50 Cent was already 2 and a half years worth of small change by then, having been born on July 6th, 1975. Who'd have thunk it?!

Just for reference, Louisa May Alcott (author of "Little Women") died in May 1888, while Adolph Hitler (Austrian-Born Nazi Dictator) was born in April 1889. Janis Joplin (Singer/Songwriter) died in October 1970, while Justin Trudeau (Canadian Politician/Prime Minister) sprung forth unto the world as a Christmas present to his parents on Christmas Day, 1971. And finally, Albert Einstein (Theoretical Physicist) died in April 1955, while Bjorn Borg (Swedish Tennis Great) was born in June 1956.
4. Which of the following brands is the oldest?

Answer: Nintendo

Harley Davidson and Chanel started trading with the names in 1903 and 1910 respectively. Boeing commenced in 1916. However, Nintendo, who first started selling trading cards, is the only entry here which began in the 1800s...1889 to be precise. Phew! You've earn't your warm milk before bed tonight, Nintendo!
5. Roses were once worth more in weight than gold.

Answer: False

While ROSE OIL was at one time worth more than gold, the blooms themselves have never reached near that mark. However, the "What?!....Really?!" fact here is, that believe it or not, tulips were. In 1620, top bulbs of tulip blooms were only ever in reach of the elitist of the elite. So much so they could fetch the equivalent of $1500 for each bulb,..an amount, at the time, which could also have bought you a very, very nice house.
6. Hair texture, fingerprint pattern, eye colour, and heart function/beats are all things one IDENTICAL twin has that can be different from the other.

Answer: True

Due to differences in the movement in the fluid flowing around them in the amniotic sac during pregnancy at any given time, identical twins will have different fingerprints and slight differences in their eye colour and retinal make up, and different hair texture. Heart function and beats-per-minute are also commonly individual.
7. There are multiple universities in the United States of America, and now more expanding worldwide, where one can go for a degree in which of these?

Answer: Taylor Swift

That's right, while it may not have surprised you that there is no recognized university courses specializing in hurling yourself into a body of water, usually the sea, from a huge height, however, New York University (NYU) WAS the first university to offer a course focused on TayTay! The University of California Berkley, the University of Tennessee and others followed suit. NYU, Salem State University, and Northeastern State University all still run courses on the megastar singer/songwriter.
Taylormania has reached as far afield as the bottom of the world too, with Auckland University in New Zealand also currently offering a Taylor Swift course.
I wonder how long the courses take?...a fortnight maybe?!
8. Which of the following sports was competed at the inaugural modern Olympic Games in Athens in 1896?

Answer: Track Cycling

There were actually six cycling events at the first modern Athens Olympics in 1896 - one road race of 87km, and FIVE track races on a velodrome (banked cycling track).
Judo was first introduced in 1964 in Tokyo, Field Hockey at the London Games in 1908, and Women's Wrestling was not competed at Olympic level until the 2004 Athens games.

Track Cycling huh?...I would've thought they would be 'two tired'. I'll show myself out.
9. Vestiphobia is the intense fear of what?

Answer: Clothes

Vestiphobia is an irrational fear of clothing. Like many phobias, this can manifest fear and/or anxiety in sufferers if they just THINK about clothes and needn't even have to be in the vicinity of any clothing itself. It can also be clothing-specific. Some people with this phobia can eventually learn to overcome the fear and accept the role of clothing in their life, some may spend years only being able to wear one or two specific types of clothing, the reasons for which can come down to, and be as different as, texture, style, type of item etc. There are some people who struggle with the fear for a longer term, doing all they can to avoid clothing at all costs, which for obvious reasons, can make their life incredibly challenging indeed.
Pediophobia is the fear of tiny dolls.
Having Telephobia would stop someone from entering into a phone booth.
Although specifically plastic food utensil phobia doesn't exist as a named phobia, Plastiphobia is the fear, disgust or anxiety of anything plastic, especially in the context of it polluting the planet. It is still to be fully recognized as a phobia, but more and more cases are being seen in recent years.
