Lucy was walking away from Princeton when the penny hit her in the head, knocking her into a coma. Later, Kate comes to the hospital where Lucy and Princeton are and talks to Princeton.
Kate- "Princeton, I heard your friend got in an accident. Is she okay?"
Princeton-"...Her head fell off in the ambulance. The doctors spent the night sewing it back on. But the prognosis is good!"
Kate- "Well, what happened to her?"
Princeton- "Oh, some idiot threw a penny off the Empire State Building."

At the end of the show, they annonuce they are leaving.
Brian- "Listen, now that everyone is all gathered here, Christmas Eve and I have and announcement."
Christmas Eve- "We getting divorced!"
Kate and Nicky- "Oh!"
Christmas Eve- "I only kidding! But, we leaving Avenue Q."
Kate- "What?"
Christmas Eve- "We married now, it time to move on, so we move to nicer neighborhood! To lower east side!"
Kate- "But you can't leave!"
Brian- "Come on guys! We'll still keep in touch! Oh, and here's another reason! I'm starting a new career! Yeah! I'm a consultant!"
Christmas Eve- "I not know what that is, but I so proud of him!"

In the second act, Kate tells Princeton that she is now working at Barnes & Noble, being bored most of the day.

Trekkie gave the large amount of money once he heard it was a "School for Monsters" he was giving to. After being picked on in his childhood, Trekkie gave a generous 10 million dollars.
Trekkie- "Here, me give you, 10 million dollars!"
Princeton- "Trekkie, where'd you get all that money?"
Trekkie- "Investing!"

Feeling depressed after seeing Brian and Christmas Eve get wed, Nicky talks to Rod while the newly wed couple and Gary Coleman talk.
Brian- "Hey, what's up with Rod?"
Gary- "Yeah, he sure is looking down in the dumps lately."
Christmas Eve- "He lonely, he need a girlfriend!"
Gary- "A girlfriend? Rod, you gotta be kidding me!"
Christmas Eve- "He not so ugly!"
Gary- "No, but I always thought Rod was one of those gays!"
Christmas Eve- "Rod is gay?"
Brian- "I bet Nicky would know! Nicky, get over here!"
Nicky- "Sure guys, what's up?"
Christmas Eve- "We wanted to know if Rod is a gay!"
Nicky- "It's funny you should ask because I do think Rod is gay! So yes! I would say that my buddy Rod is a closeted homosexual!"
Rod- "Nicky? Well! I am not a closeted, homo-whatever! I have a life that none of you know about, not even you Nicky!"
(Then he sings "My Girlfriend, Who Lives in Canada")

Answer: "Think of it as a surprise party!"

After Rod gives his R.S.V.P. to Christmas Eve in the first act, Brian asks her about them getting married. She replies, "Think of it as a surprise party!" Christmas Eve is played by Ann Harada and Brian is played by Jordan Gelber.
