Answer: His dead wife as a zombie

Rick woke up crying out loud after dreaming of Lori becoming a zombie. In the dream, he saved Carl from getting hit by a car. He told his son to go up to his room and confided in his wife. She kissed him and then became a zombie. He fell to the ground and allowed Lori to tear through his flesh. He kept repeating "This is what I deserve."

Answer: A weakened zombie

Rosita screamed when a zombie reached up and grabbed her leg. She had been "shoe shopping" with Andrea. Eugene ran over and pointed something interesting out. The zombie hardly had enough strength to lift his arm. Eugene even got close enough for the zombie to lean forward and bite him, but he was too weak. Eugene admitted that he'd never seen a zombie like that.

Answer: A sharpener

The group separated momentarily to look for supplies. Michonne searched through a store and saw that all of the weapons, including axes and knives, were gone. Previous raiders had already taken them. She told Rick that the store was filled with sharpeners, adding "Nobody thinks ahead."

Answer: Maggie hanging from a tree

Glenn stood and announced that he was going to check in the woods for Maggie; she had gone to the bathroom and had been gone too long. The shocking image of Maggie's dark form hanging from a tree filled his eyes and brought him to tears. He screamed her name and begged for help. Abraham ran over and cut her down.

Answer: Rick had placed a gun to his head

Abraham stood over Maggie's body, telling Glenn that she would turn into a zombie soon, and she needed to be shot. Rick yelled and asked Abraham to give Glenn some time to mourn before he had to say goodbye forever. He refused. Rick then went behind him and put his own gun to Abraham's head and said, "You pull your trigger- and I'll pull mine."

Answer: "You were you for the first time in a while."

Because Rick prevented Abraham from shooting Maggie's body, she actually survived. After a moment, Maggie coughed and woke up; she had merely blacked out. Abraham was horrified that he had almost shot her. Maggie refused to talk about it with Glenn or anyone else. Michonne wanted Rick to trust his instincts more, pointing out that he had saved Maggie's life.

Answer: "Don't let me kill again."

Abraham told Rosita that he was infuriated with Rick, because no one ever spoke to him the way Rick did. While Rick was going to the bathroom, Abraham saw a zombie approaching. He aimed his gun and ended up shooting the zombie, saving Rick's life. He told Rosita he "might have been" aiming the gun at Rick. The two kissed, revealing their relationship.

Answer: To his old neighborhood

He had a number of reasons to go back home. He wanted to see if Morgan and Duane Jones were still there. They were the first two people he met after coming out of his coma. He also wanted to back to his police station because he knew there were several weapons and supplies to take. Abraham and Carl traveled in the car along with Rick.

Answer: A gas station

Rick told the others he would be back in two days. The others loyally remained behind at a gas station. When he returned they would continue their trek to Washington, D.C. It was at this time that Dale and Andrea moved their kids Ben and Billy to a farmhouse not far away. It had wide open fields and fit all of them. Dale wanted to settle down somewhere permanently.

Answer: They were attacked by three men

Three men showed up in the middle of the night and held Abraham at gunpoint. Another man held Rick and another attacked Carl. They told the trio that the road they rested on belonged to them, and they needed to "pay up." They carried various types of guns and knives.

Answer: He bit a human

The three men started out threatening to simply rob Rick, Abraham, and Carl. But when Rick struggled to get out of his attacker's grasp, the leader cried "Take the boy's pants off!" Rick fought against the grip of one man while Carl resisted. One man finally wrapped Rick into a bear hug and sneered "What you gonna do now?" Rick leaned forward and bit the flesh off of his neck. Abraham used the distraction to shoot his own captor. Rick picked up a dropped knife and was able to prevent something terrible from happening to his son.

Answer: His wife and daughter had been raped

Rick realized that Abraham was very similar to him. When the zombies first arrived, Abraham had gathered with his neighbors and his family, including his ex-wife. They stayed in a grocery store because it was easy to defend and had numerous supplies.

He realized how much people had changed when they raped his family. They didn't kill them, so he sought the attackers out and got justice.

Answer: He had killed people as well

After Abraham opened up about losing control and killing his wife's rapist, Rick decided to share some things from his own past. He told him how he had killed Dexter in the middle of a fight with zombies, to prevent being kicked out of the prison. He also told him about Martinez, and how he killed him to protect his family. Carl spoke up, surprising the men, because they hadn't known he was listening. Carl stated that he had shot a man in the neck- Shane, the man who was going to kill his father.

Answer: His hair

Andrea pointed out that she hated his hair, which happened to be a mullet. Eugene was an incredibly intelligent scientist who worked for the government and didn't look the part at all. She told him he didn't look smart. Eugene said "Exactly," and explained that that's precisely the look he was going for. He said it gave him an advantage.

Answer: A dead family

Rick found his old friend Morgan at the old house and saw that his son Duane had been bitten. They left him behind and went to meet the others back at the gas station. Before they had the chance, they encountered a herd and were forced to run from the horde.

They came across a house and searched it, looking for something that would make noises, to confuse the zombies. Morgan found two dead children and their parents. Apparently the father poisoned his family, and then took a drill to their corpses, before killing himself.
